I returned to Abuja yesterday after spending the festive period in my village. I live in Apo, around d mechanic village area. Around 6 pm when I returned, I met d lights on. And from dat time till now, and as I type dis (more dan 26hrs after my return), the light has not blinked for one second! This is unprecedented in our national history. I pray dis is sustained.

And people who hate to commend the govt for anything still come to Nairaland to say dat there is no improvement in power supply!

It's not yet Uhuru for d power sector because in my village during d festive season, we had an average of 6hrs supply per day, though pple say it was much better b4 d Christmas. But to say there hasn't been improvement is a big lie. I believe dat with time, what we're experiencing here will go round d whole nation.

Campaign tinz. Be prepared to pay for every minute of it after election

na wa o coutonou here, well where i stay here in nigeria highest power is 1hour 30minuits somtimes les dan dat per day.

It'll be shortlived. You'll come back here whinning in another week or thereabout. A while ago, when all hands where on deck, we experienced more than three days at a stretch & i went to town singing praises. That was when Berth was in charge. What do we have now?...will clock a month straight on by Sunday since we last saw the bulbs flash.
