Nice One OP, It is Pieces like this that we UNDECIDED voters need to see! Not the screaming match amongst both parties! Yar Adua and GEJ in my opinion set the foundation for a Modern Nigeria! GEJ took it further by implementing policies with far-reaching effects! But there's a Problem! GEJ won his election on a POPULAR MANDATE! Meaning the masses voted for him overwhelmingly! That was a BLANK CHEQUE to fight and break any perceived cabal, introduce huge Pro-masses policies, endear himself to the population by travelling around the country and making friends! Interacting with the very people that fought the Yar-Adua Cabal to make you substantive president! But what happened? He lost touch with Millions of people who rooted for him! Formed a Techno-Oligarchy and practically walled himself off everyone else, relying only on the advice of members of these group who are avowed Elitists! Its like Obama winning an Election on a Democratic Party platform and going about Condemning Abortion, Giving Tax Breaks to rich co-orporations, Expanding Guantanamo Bay, etc how would his Democrat Constituency feel? And what would be the reaction of the Republican party which sees a Golden opportunity to unseat him? Swift Decisive Actions against Corrupt Officials and Incompetent Generals, Frequent Trips to the NorthEast, a Tight leash on his Wife, Asari Dokubo etc and an energetic Governance would have given the oppposition no chance at all! The APC isn't apparently the best option for Nigerians now, but they chose a very Potent Battle cry "CHANGE" |

MansaMoussa:I agree with you. My problem is the people surrounding Buhari. They are sharks. THEY WILL CONSUME HIM!! |
| Re: A Tale Of Two Elections: How I Went From Sai Buhari To Go Jonathan! by MansaMoussa: 10:25am On Jan 07, 2015 |
keyremotes:I use to think so too until Buhari made the most strategic comment in his campaign saying He would not Revisit past sins but would draw a Line! That to me is his realization of his precarious position as a Lion among a Hungry Hyena Clan! Its a Coded Message for the Tinubus and Amaechis that "If you behave, you have nothing to fear, but if you dare misbehave,I'll bring down the Heavens upon you" Another reason I tilt toward a Buhari Candidature is the Buhari is the Only Person that can BREAK Northern Hegemony! And I think these Peeps are his major Target! The Erroneous belief most Nigerians have is that all the North loves Buhari! Lies! Only the Common Man on the Street does, but the Ever-Kleptocratic Elites will not be alive to see him rule (the IBBs, Abachas, Shemas, Abdulsalamis, Mainas etc). Only a Northerner can break their Power without the Screams of Victimization renting the Air! Only a Buhari can Throw an IBB in Jail without any rancour, same way as only a GEJ can arrest an Asari Dokubo without eye-brows being raised! We need a balance in this country, a Balance that the PDP destroyed! Allow Buhari to do the Dirty Job for you so that you can rule peacefully again! Moreover, I see no reason why PDP should be afraid of losing grip for 4yrs after 15yrs in power! They have the capacity to claim it back if APC fails(as witnessed in Ekiti) My Beloved GEJ just boxed himself into a very precarious position! How will he campaign in the NE? What about the NC(eg Benue State where a PDP Governor is owing about 6months salaries) or NW where he's openly beefing Kwankwaso and Tambuwal? The Pedigree of his campaign managers makes me weep! Can Jerry Gana deliver GEJ in his hometown in Niger State? Tony Anenih nko? His State is in Opposition Hands! And so many of them! You can see that even in matters the pertain to him personally, he still refuses to employ Merit in handling them, how much more collective issues! My Biggest Fear is the threat of forming a Parallel Govt by the APC! With a Military divided along Ethno-religious lines, who will exact supreme control? A Southern Air-commodore I interacted with vowed the military would crush any lawlessness from the opposition after the election! A Northern Major that is a good friend of mine says he is praying to get posted to the South East or South South in February so he can protect GMB votes! That the Era of 100% GEJ in the SE in over! Now can you see where we are headed? I see the Gbagbo/Outtarra Situation Playing out in this country! And even though the ivorian crisis was resolved, 26000 lives were lost and hundreds of thousands of people displaced! I still remain an Undecided Voter until either Party eases their Desperation |

Under GEJ an Army that used to be respected all over Africa is losing significant parts of our territoy almost weekly. That alone should be enough to impeach the C-in-C in a sane clime. |

scribble:Ode...jonathan said he knows the sponsors of Boko haram. For over 4yrs he has made that statement, why hasn't he probed or arrested anyone of them...instead he has made them friends and giving them national awards. Do you want to tell me he is afraid of them? If so, then he is not worthy of being a president. PDP and SATANISTS are hypocrites. Sincerely ask yourselves these questions |

MansaMoussa:difficult for Jonathan to travel round the country making friends etc when the Northern cabal used the funds they looted under Yaradua to make NIgeria ungovernable for him...the Boko Haram issue gives him sleepless nights that is why im voting for him because i cant stand wicked people that will kill their own people just to frustrate ONE man |

scribble:E no go better for you for quoting me and typing that rubbish. Na you and your family go hide their face in shame and commit suicide. Is there any fallacy in any of the statement I made. Agreed, the boko haram sponsors are predominantly from the north. But Jonathan himself used his mouth to admit that they are his friends and brothers. And you all wonder why he isn't keen on winning the war on terror. Why does he keep, underfunding and siphoning funds meant for the military. Why he keeps supporting the death sentences of army personnels instead of addressing their grievances and complaints. Why he keeps promoting and supporting corrupt and incompetent military chiefs instead of sanctioning and dismissing them. Instead its the foot soldier that places their lives on the line everyday that are being murdered, persecuted and sentenced to death under the guise of mutiny cause they protested against the rot in the military and decided to preserve themselves cos of the governments insincererity towards fighting terrorism. A pig is more worthy and wise than useless Satanoids that keeps supporting Jonathan because he is simply their "brother". |

vicadex07:not all affluent people make their money from government and just because you are poor doesnt mean that Jonathan is the author of your poverty.... Ask your father and mother the role Buhari played as well as IBB, Abacha, OBJ and others Dont worry, e go better one day Just leave your vindictive mentality behind because as a rule poverty follows people with cruel intentions Pele u hear |

scribble:Am sure you're not Yoruba because we aren't empty chest beaters like some of our brothers in the east. Go and ask your mum who your real father is. You will be shocked. Am not in anyway affected by the Nigerian Economy cos even though I grew up there, I have since moved on to a better country and am doing great. Am just ashamed at the effrontery of this government to even begin to think of campaigning. Put yourself in my shoes. Imagine you're here in the US and all the news you hear daily from your country is bombings, massive looting of the treasury, our president saying stealing is not corruption on national TV, our army rendered useless, ur relatives always disturbing u to send money cos of the economic situation there...will u be happy with the president. If not that you're directly or indirectly gaining from the ineptness of this administration, you won't be there spewing trash. The so called wealth your family has illegally acquired can dissappear in the twinkling of an eye if something is not done to stem and pacify the agitations of the suffering masses anytime soon. Of course you won't know there are people suffering and that lots of them aren't happy with the present government cos u lie down in the comfort of your room to type nonsense. Go out and feel the heat. If they born u well, enter the north...but of course you won't. Even jonathan your father and mentor has chickened out and refused to go despite all the security apparatus in his disposal. He is not only clueless but a coward who cannot control even his wife. |
