MOBJECTIVE:
In part I agree with the bolded. However, 4 years? No country on this planet has carried out a complete development plan in 4 years. Not even the Asian tigers. To carry out a comprehensive development plan it takes at least 20 years, and even then the country will still have problems.

As for the rest of your comment i will not reply to. Im just glad you're not small minded enough to believe that our problems start and end with corruption. Personally I even believe that is the least of our problems.
I am not saying that all of Nigeria's problems can be solved in 4 years. What i am talking about is an APPRECIABLE level of development commensurate with our resources. Any country that budgets less than 20% of its annual budget for capital expenditure just like Nigeria CAN NEVER develop, plain and simple.

And I definitely disagree with you about corruption. Corruption is without a doubt one of Nigeria's top 3 biggest problems coming second only after mismanagement. Ask yourself how many of the top 20 world economies are in the list of the top 50 most corrupt nations and the answer is none!(Russia is the only exception). We cannot develop if we do not make a concerted effort to stamp out corruption.

Finally i also disagree with you that it would take 20 years to develop. This is the Information Technology age and the opportunities that IT affords a nation to develop are limitless. Besides let us not forget the example of Cross River. It took Donald Duke ONLY 8 years to make Cross River one of the largest tourist attractions in West Africa! That is the mark of a visionary leader. If he could do it in Cross River in less than 8 years what is stopping us a nation?

Summary of the story....

They didn't steal the meat from the pot...The meat was taken from the pot and given to Bingo, so that Bingo would chill and not bite the owner....

Whichever way, the meat is all gone... And it disappeared during the fisherman's watch undecided

Next thing they will tell us is.... We all have to be sold into slavery in order to realize funds to breast-feed the economy and defend the integrity of our beloved Naira angry
No, more like they ate the bingo's meat and so had to give it the meat in the pot... So technically, they didn't steal the meat in the pot
Buhahaha... Such a load of crap.

I more or less agree with you at this point, so there's no point continuing this. And if I gave the impression that i support either buhari or Jonathan, I dont. I think its very disappointing that Nigerians are not asking for better.

Let me school you with a better scenario wink

3 children in the same school are to collect school fees from the same parents amounting to N20 000 each. The eldest of them lies about the amount, and says it is N40 000, so the parents give each child N40 000.
The second eldest has no problem with this and so collects the money. The youngest and most innocent however is troubled by this, but to assuage the guilt of taking all N40 000, he only takes his N20 000 and finds a way to secretly return the remaining to his parents purse. But he turns a blind eye to the actions of his fellow siblings and always plays mr good boy when he is around them.

Tell me, is there anyway he could have done things differently that would have been better for his family as a whole? Is his family still not leaking N40 000 each year. Is he really helping his siblings and washing himself clean of guilt by ignoring their actions?

My own answer: My conscience and Catholic faith tells me even this young boy is wrong in his actions. Simple.
Correct but he played a politics of wisdom so as not to tear the family apart because his brothers will always be his brother and exposing them can create permanent enmity between his siblings.

That's why religion cannot freely mix with politics cos you can't be 100 percent perfect but you have to try. Even god judges the heart and not actions so am sure the youngest guy will be in his good books.

Jonathan made no attempt whatsoever to stem corruption yet blames the opposition for every evil in his administration. On his first address to the nation this year, he said he is making plans towards addressing the issue of corruption. Tell me, after how many years. He isn't ready to do anythind differently if voted in to power. He will even perform was cos he knows he cannot be elected again unlike APC which would strive to atleast do something different and prove that they are better than PDP. This healthy competition will be to the masses advantage.

Am tired of cluelesness please. This is not hating.

I could tell you how Malaysia has a larger and more DIVERSE economy than we do, and why this is part of the reason they have much larger foreign reserves, but I will not. You should ask yourself why we have just $4 billion and if is possible to solve the problems that got us to that amount in just under five years.

The foolish, mediocre and moronic one is the one who thinks the problem is as simple as stealing.
If you knew the Malaysian economy is diversified (doubt you didn't just research it), why will you insanely compare it with Nigeria? were you trying to create confusion or peddle false intellectual to the majority of dumb Nigerians here?

Tell me your mission why Malaysia should appear as a variable in the Nigerian economic equation?

Not every subject you must have an opinion, it gives you away as dumb.

Guess you were perplexed when I released the statistics for you.
Most of you here don't deserve an opinion.

If you knew [know] the Malaysian economy is diversified, why will you insanely [did you] compare it with Nigeria['s economy]?
I did not compare it with the Nigerian economy. I posted an excerpt from an article published very recently which shows that even a country with a more diverse economy than our own, which does not depend on oil, is experiencing the same economic problems that we are experiencing due to the fall in oil prices. And also to show that its own reserves have similarly reached a four year low because they are defending their currency. If you remember, we defended our own currency untill we realized that were not buoyant enough to continue doing so.

[s]Tell me your mission why Malaysia should appear as a variable in the Nigerian economic equation?[/s] [What was your aim when you included Malaysia in our discuss about the Nigerian economy?]
My aim was to show people that corruption and stealing does not explain away everything.

P.S I know my English is not very good, but its either yours is very appalling or you were deliberately trying not to communicate.

If you knew Malaysia is not quintessential to Nigeria's present doldrum, why did you paste the article?
That is the strategy of the dumb, digging up un reaserched articles to score cheap points. See his mouth like Malaysia like you know anything about Malaysia.
Bros, go and study, thank me later.
