2.) Do I need to root my phone before I can change the imei of my phone with the app?

3.) Can I just pick the imei number of any eligible phone then try doing out..

1. You can make use of either of mobile uncle app or mtk app.

2. It depends on your phone 'cos i used tecno P5 and it is unroot...

3. The imei must be either of Tecno Phantom z, infinix hot, infinix zero, tecno(f7, r7, and p3) or NokiaX...

Your fone doesn't have to be rooted for you to edit the imei via mobile uncle tools

But if you are editing with gravity box rooting might be involved...

The various fone model have their own data cap and the way it ranges. P
