We all know that leadership is key in every organisation, if the head is rotten, the rest of the body cannot function effectively. Your idea of guilty by association is not logical to discerning people. If my MD run our company aground, does it mean I am responsible? Let's take intercontinental bank or Oceanic bank for example, the fact that Cecilia Ibru and Erastus Akingbola ran the two banks aground means that everyone who have work in those organisations are bad? By the way Buhari & Osinbajo who are our major interst here has never associated with PDP. Secondly, this idea that Buhari is 72yrs is cock and bull story. Of what use has Dimeji Bankole, Femi Fani Kayode, Ifeanyi Uba, Farouk Lawan etc who are younger have demonstrated enough integrity in their public and private lives. Please, show us the youths in our midst who can do a better job and will not be intimidated by these corrupt politicians. I don't care about how old my president is and how many masters and phd degrees he has, all I want is competent, capable, discipline and incorruptible president who can deal decisively with national problems. He is not expected to do it alone, but I exoect him to surround himself with competent, dedicated and patriotic intellectuals in all fields as his think-thank to help him out, so most of these" hog-wash" reasons being used to discredit Buhari cannot stand proper reasoning. It is in view of the above that I urge nigerians to stop this massive suffering by nigerians from our clueless leader and his cronies. It takes one man to start the change, it may not be overnight, but followers needs a good leader to show a purposeful direction. The change will be gradual and incremental but it will be visible unlike reverse gear in which we are moving now. |

Light can not be hidden by darkness. It is of no point ministers reeling out success stories that the populace can not connect to. A man who used to have 2 hours/day power supply and now has average of 18 hours /day needs no minister to tell him what the govt has done. A man who used to buy petrol @ 97 and possibly buys it @ 70naira needs not to be told by a minister what the govt is doing. When you truly impact peoples life, reeling out paper achievement will be inconsequential. |
