Please, is it a marketable course in Nigeria? Where do they work? Should i accept the admission?

Your Minister of Agriculture is an Agro Economist; studied at Ife with a 1st class honours, and repeated same abroad with his Masters and PhD. That should tell you how far the degree can take you.

If you're passionate about it, it should be very good.

As we realise again (what our ancestors already did) that Agric is the real deal, the economic, management and financing side of it need to be modernised and developed. This can be at local, national or international level. Advisory/consultancy and or academic roles are just too aspects.

You will also have a high level of numeracy and other transferrable skills. So it will be up to you to sell yourself.

Don't forget that major banks/investment houses have Agro analysts.
