You're somehow right. I really think Jonathan is a horrible leader but i now realise that no other administration has given me more role models and higher positions to aspire for than this one. Of course some of these women are crooks but for the first time since we began this democratic process, i and at least other young women of my generation can actually visualise ourselves being in charge of important and influential ministries not just the atypical women affairs and education. His appointments broke down the strongest barrier of them all. The Psychological barrier. kudos Jonathan.

But he made it look as if domestic duties are horrible things to happen to a woman this 21st century. I have a job and contribute to my home the little way I can. I don't mind cooking and having kids for my hubby (like I said, if I don't, who the hell will?). And there's hardly a man this day and age that will subject a woman to be popping out kids year after year (Maybe in Otuoke shaa o).

You are one of the audience gej is targeting...... Those that are emotionally reactive to every word they hear but don't try to analyse it tactically.
Have you asked yourself why gej didn't say this 4,5 years ago instead of now. Sorry to say this but I don't know if you were old enough to understand naija politics during obj's era in the presidency. Then you will know that gej is employing the same campaign strategy all those failed politicians in obj's era used.
I don't hate jonathan but his daring act of trying to insult the intelligence of Nigerians makes me indifferent. He turns himself into a motivational speaker at his campaign rally where he is supposed to show us the blueprints of the achievement of his administration and what he intends to do in another 4 years.

This GEJ campaign is running on fumes when it comes to issues. A president who has been in power both as president and vice president should coasting home on victory lane. When he fails on 14th February, the number sinker would be corruption, insecurity would follow. There are a host of other issues weighing him down. Nigerians see on daily basis how politicians are throwing their bellies and dollars around; the president encouraging them on with his several remarks on how he will not jail any of his corrupt friends, they can help but come to the conclusion that you are defined by the company you keep. The only deterrence to crime is punishment. Does the president think we are all fools. 14th February presidential election is the only opportunity we have to reverse the power, to make an honest attempt at cleansing our polity. If the president is not corrupt, he would a champion in the fight to stop it. Corruption is not a matter that affords anyone a seat on the fence. It is Nigeria's number one killer. It kills security. It kills education. It kills infrastructure development. It kills healthcare. It blocks Nigeria's pathway to glory. GEJ does not deserve another opportunity to keep fooling us.
