On CNN this morning it was stated that President Goodluck Johnathan seems to more interested in the battle for presidency than the battle to defeat boko Haram. It's a shame that foreigners recognize the President's failure to provide leadership more than we do.

So kindly state how it is untrue. What exactly has the president done to battle BH? Do you honestly believe he has put more effort and funds into battling BH than into his campaign? Why are things getting worse rather than better? Your own people are dying and hungry and need their president more than ever but he's more focused on his campaign.

I'm a girl. It's interesting how you think he shouldn't be invloved in the biggest crisis affecting our country. That he should just let the military "handle it". Anyways you are entitled to your opinion. There is way to much ignorance in this country.

Didn't you witness the relatively incident free Xmas and new year celebrations compared to previous years, do you think the terrorists just decided to rest?
Are you not now hearing about the military resisting terrorist attacks and even mounting offensive?
Do you think they just changed diet and started fighting?
Inspite of international gang up, the president has been procuring equipment and weapons and boasting the capacity of the Army.

The military is now more equipped than it was 2 years ago. You should dwell more on systematic and sustainable change, not a one day show of power like OBJ went and destroyed a village to show that he is the CinC
