As I read through the sentimental criticisms against mr. President on the social media trailing his intimidating popularity as a candidate of one party compared to those from coalition of many parties, I cannot but relate it to this traditional African wisdom.

It was the legendary Anambra born late high life music maestro, Osita Osadebe who titled his ingenious song; "Osondi owendi". For the sake of our brothers who do not understand Igbo language, I will attempt a translation but I must state quickly that the quidity of that song can only be savored within its original language.

Permit me to attempt the translation in pidgin English. "Osendi owendi" thus translates; "e dey sweet some people, e dey pepper some people".

It is obvious that Mr.president has done well otherwise he would not be able to command the popularity he commands presently.

Come February 14, Mr.President will be re-elected Osondi Owendi!

http://nigerianpilot.com/new-4-star-hotel-opens-owerri/

Owerri , the Imo State capital has added to its bountiful catalogue of hotels and
resorts following the opening of the city’s newest hotel, the Immaculate Royal
International Hotel Ltd, situated along the ever busy Port Harcourt Road, near
Imo State House of Assembly.
Addressing newsmen yesterday during a press briefing at the hotel, the
managing director, Mr. Chris Praise Duru stated that the hotel which commenced
operations in October 2011 at Abuja now has two branches in the Federal Capital
Territory, FCT, and the latest one in Owerri.
According to him, the hotel was formally opened on the last Christmas Day with a
200 bedded cozy rooms of four(4) classes namely, royal, diplomatic,
ambassadorial and senatorial suites with lavishly finished interior décor and
other facilities befitting a 4-Star hotel anywhere in the world.
Duru explained that the reason for investing in Owerri is because of the rising
choice of the city as the tourism capital in the Southern region dismissed
insinuations that the city has more than enough hotels.
He insisted that the important issue about the growth of the hospitality industry
in any society is not all about the number of outfits but the quality of service
rendered stressing that it is the latter that attracts patronage.
He called on Imolites and Nigerians alike to avail themselves of the exquisite
facilities such as the; 1,000, 400 and 100 capacity halls for events assuring of the
best of security, safety and general satisfaction of customers at all times.
The Managing Director who took newsmen round the new imposing edifice urged
Imolites and government to take far more interest in development of tourism by
investing constructively in the hospitality industry and dismissed what he called
the erroneous impression that the increase in hotels promotes promiscuity.
“As far as hospitality and tourism are concerned there is no link between hotels
and promiscuity. Hotel is a business outfit that provides home for the sojourner
away from home and promotes state economy not promiscuity as erroneously
believed in certain quarters,” he submitted.
