Promising to cancel the tolling when the PDP Federal Government is planning to toll all major existing and new federal roads. This man, although a brilliant man, is a pretender and a novice in the act of governance.

Nice one Jimi, money used for the construction of additional lanes on that road had long been realised, and besides, it's tax payer's money. So why asking the people to continue paying? Jakande didn't extra-tax nor tolled anyone in his time.

Any extra Kobo made on that toll booth is fraudulent.

Scrap the darn thing let Lagosians enjoy the Dividens of the tax they pay.

I respect Jimi Agbaje as an individual, but now that he has been bitten by the "PDP bug", he's likely going to misfire in some if not most of his utterances. He ran seemingly ran an "ethical" campaign in 2007 which is a sharp deviation from his current approach under the circumstances.

He's a good product for a bad brand. Having to "fellowship" with a bunch of vultures will only stain his political "garment" the more.

This is where you get it wrong, tolling an already existing road, Lekki to Epe is akin to improving Ikorodu road and tolling it. When that road was constructed by Jakande in the 1980s,, there was a toll gate at the Epe end, that toll can still be maintained for those travelling to Ijebu Ode not for the middle or low income people that live at Ajah and have to pay at two toll gates just to get to work on the island. You cannot compare it to tolling the second Niger bridge or the express portion of Lagos ibadan expressway. There are so many other ways to raise revenue, property taxes for instance.

Unrealistic campaign promises, founded either on inexperience or desperation!

The road and toll gate are part of a PPP concession deal to which Lagos State, LCC and ARM are parties. It is not subject to cancellation at the whim of an Executive. Not only would they be tied up in a court battle for many years, but any such attempt would create a hostile infrastructure development environment for potential investors.

Don't misunderstand me - I am not a PDP or APC supporter. I do not believe we have the best candidates in the current pool. Also, I never supported the manner in which the toll gates were built. But I know false bravado when I hear it.

If you force your family, in-law and girlfriends as senators and lawmakers on the rest of the party members, you a progressive leader;

But if you act like you don't care in PDP, you are dullard

If you tried to get a third term fraudulently by bribing the legislatures but failed, then support APC, you are democrat and the father of the nation;

If you try to get a constitutional second term in PDP, without their blessings, you an ingrate and stupid.

In their time we had Halliburton scandal, ID card scandal, Siemens scandal, we have subsidy scam scandal, we have national stadium contract scandal, we have health budget financial scam, aviation sector scam, we had power sector scandal. How many people did he jail to prove he fought corruption? Rather EFCC was his big stick against his perceived enemies.

In their time we had a sitting governor kidnapped by a thug working for the president. We had a whole region of the country rigged in favor of his party. Morris Ibekwe, a wanted international fraud star won election under PDP.

Those who stole Nigerians blind under PDP; Atiku, Obasanjo, Baraje, Saraki, Wammako, Kwankwaso, Amaechi, Oyinlola, Segun Oni, Okorocha, Ngige, Adeleke, El Rufai, etc, are today the same people financing APC and calling for "CHANGE".

Flashback to 1999, who were these people? Billionaires ? They where nobody. Today, they spend billions and no one dare to ask a question. If you do you are enemy of progress.

They started with "New PDP" when that didn't fly, they joined a cult group called ACN to become APC. Same character with different name.
