The Peoples Democratic Party’s
Presidential Campaign Organisation said on Saturday in Abuja that the witness who could have divulged all the secret dealings of Gen. Buhari as the head of Petroleum Trust Fund(PTF) is dead.

According to the statement released by the Organisation,Obasanjo was trying to cover all the illegal financial transactions of Gen. Buhari as the head of PTF.

In a statement signed by Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode,the Director
of Media and Publicity of the Organisation,it was totally wrong for Obasanjo to say that Gen. Buhari is a clean man.He faulted Obasanjo for saying that Buhari was clean when he investigated his activities as the head of PTF.He said Obasanjo's statement was contrary to the findings of the committee that was set up to investigate Buhari's dealings.

“One of the directors of Afri Project Consortium, who was contracted by the PTF as management consultants and project consultants, is one person that could have nailed Buhari.

“He was in a position to indict him and tell the world all that he knew about the graft that took place at PTF, but he died under very mysterious circumstances
shortly after the Dr. Haroun Adamu report was submitted to the Federal Government when Obasanjo was in power.

“Many people are asking whether this was a mere coincidence or whether there was more to it.

“It is curious that former President Obasanjo, an elder statesman that we hold in the highest esteem and under whose watch the Haroun Adamu probe of the PTF was conceived, commissioned and concluded, would come out and attempt to clear Buhari of all the charges made and issues raised in the report and give him a clean bill of health almost fourteen years later.

“The Adamu report not only conflicts with Obasanjo’s new-found position but it also proves that the position taken by the
former president has no basis in reality.

“The final report was a monumental sleaze and the
most pervasive and insidious type of corruption in PTF while Buhari held sway there.”

What has gone wrong between FFK and Obasanjo?Do you still remember that FFK served as a Minister during Obasanjo's regime?

I used to think being a spokesman means telling the world the achievements of ur party,now I know it means attacking ur opponents left,right and center while leaving crucial issues in the bin. This FFK was a bad signing from PDP.
