Out of desperation, GEJ's government has increased subsidy payments and reduced fuel prices to N87 per liter. Many people think it is a good decision. But it is not.

You think you are paying less at the Petrol station, but you cannot experience much economic developments this way. Why? The monies that have been budgeted for Education, Security, Constructions and many more will be diverted to pay for subsidy as it was never planned.

Budget - $65 per barrel.
Crude - $48 per barrel.
We are losing $17 per barrel.

In recent weeks, India and Indonesia have removed fuel subsidies. Nigeria's government decides to take on more.

Deregulation is the solution, not increased subsidy payments.
GEJ is wrecking the Nigerian economy. This desperation is foolish.

GEJ is seeking to buy your votes for N10, but your future cannot be exchanged for N10. He knows this move is not sustainable and so, he will definitely increase it, even more than N97, if you vote him in.

He waited up until 27 days to the election to make this move...Haba! Nigerians! You are not foolish! Tell him!

Im not an economist, but I believe 27 days is not to long, to study the market and make good decision analysis whether to revert or maintain the current price. Economic decisions are not something you make in a day you study the trend.

Ps: op did you study Economics? or work in a financial organisation where you the chief policy maker? if no then #pullover

Teacher: When crude oil was N119 per barrel, we
buy petrol for N97 per litre
Now that crude oil is N49 per barrel with all other
things being equal, what is the expected price of
petrol per litre?
Jonathan: N87.
Teacher: Pls who award PhD to this man who
doesn't know simple arithmetic?
Teacher: buhari what is d answer?
Buhari: sir, the only items that change is price, so
our change formular is;
If N119 changed to N49
Then N97 will CHANGE to N27
Teacher: But they said u don't have certificate?
Buhari: it's a simple arithmetic, even market
woman can solve it.
Teacher: Chai chai..... we need CHANGE
