President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaigners in Kano State have accepted defeat hence their failure to paste his posters and billboard in the state, a chieftain of the All Proressives Congress (APC) Engineer Atiku A. Dungurawa has said.
Reacting to a report tagged “No campaign posters, billboard of Jonathan in Kano,” Dungurawa said the leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state are shying away from campaigning for the president because he is not a sellable candidate.
“They have accepted defeat in Kano, that is why they are not campaigning for Jonathan in Kano because of the overwhelming developmental projects of the Kwankwaso-led administration in the state,” Dungurawa said.
He said people of the state are yearning for change in view of the backwardness the PDP-led Federal Government has thrown the country into.
“The incompetence of the federal government forced the people of the state to yearn for change. With the adamant posture of the PDP in the state, the APC will record landslide victory in the general elections,” he said.
He urged the people of the state to eschew violence during and after the general elections in order to ensure the change that they are yearning for.
“With this development, the APC presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari does not need to come to Kano for campaign, because the people will vote for him overwhelmingly,” he said.

This shouldn't be news, I expected what happened in 2011 to happen again in kano, GEJ will lose in some northern states...

He just needs to fight for is 25% which I doubt he will get, because 2011 he only got about 15% in kano...

That's a state in 36States which consist of at least 40% non indigenous population whom are pro GEJ

Very true, I see a repeat of what happened in some northern states in 2011 where GEJ lost...In some of these states he should just fight for the 25% required, because I don't see him taking those states from GMB...

Don't mind them GEJ is not fighting to win northwest all he need is 25% from the region, APC should also worry how GMB will get 25% from southeast and south south.

For GEJ, I am sure he cannot get 25% in the 4 states he failed in 2011 (Borno, Yobe, Kano and Bauchi). Added to that are the borderline states where he got between 25 and 30% (Katsina, Zamfara and perhaps Niger state). Also, states like Gombe, Jigawa and Kebbi are very unlikely places where GEJ can get 25%. If Fayose's advert on the Punch and Sun newspapers are read in those states, GEJ can forget those 10 states mentioned above.
Sokoto and Osun states are possible spoilers for GEJ's attempt at 25% in 25.

Buhari would get 25% in every state NW, NE, NC SW Edo and Abuja thats over 25 states already

bros.. GEJ cannot win 25% in any NW states, the only exception might be Kaduna. GEJ cannot get more than 5% in Kano.

Have lived in Kano before and am aware of the population ratio of indigene to non indigene.
The non indigenous population are predominantly Hausa from neighbouring states. The non hausa are less than 10% in population including the Youruba, Igbo and middle belts.
