[b][/b]It ha become needful to review the implication of Buhari certificate scandal.
Buhari had claimed his certificate was with the Military.
The military tasked the records department to unearth the mysterious certificate and right the impression on one of its most decorated generals.
Later, the party APC claimed that his certificate was seized by the IBB regime that took over from him. This however has been rebuffed by the self styled maradonna.

Today, the Military held a formal press briefing and these were the statement
Buhari had entered the military on the strength of recommendation by his then principal in 1960,
Buhari was promoted to officer rank via a certified true copy by a commission of the Army.
Buhari's file contains the letter purportedly written by the School Prncipal when he was in form 6.
Remarks of the commission referring to the certified true copy of the WASC certificate they sighted.

Strangely though, for both instances, his file do not contain the certified true copies or any copy of the WASC result.

Mind you, it is quite common those days not to go through school as it is common these days as schooling in the North is very rare.
Moreso, it also not common for any Hausa man who have gone to school to loose his certificate, as it was equivalent to a first degree back then except through unforeseen natural disaster.


The SITUATION ROOM.
1.If this is the case what does it portend for the APC party?
2.What does it mean for the people general presidential ambition?
3.And what does it say about his career in the Army and his Integrity as a person?
4. What will be Nigerian perception about him after this saga.

Whilst it is not a truism that education makes a better leader, the importance of education should never be lost on us, as the world especially the West-US and UK will laugh us to scorn as a people, as clueless-bereft of ideas and capable of not discerning a political liability or an asset or a people who threw away a PHD for an illiterate while they applaud us in our front.

#BuharicertifiGate might result in the following scenarios:

1.He could be jailed for lying under oath.
2. He could be stripped of his rank
3.He could ruin the chance of APC in the next coming polls except there is a plan B in place.
4. He could be asked to refund the military and the FG all the salaries and money paid him back-dated and that is huge for someone his status.

What do you think this mean for us, for the hope of change and how do we resolve this impasse quietly in such a way that Nigerian wins and the general keeps his pride.

simple enough,the General can still come out and apologize to Nigerians and The Military Honourably and walk away...

Buhari should not have sworn an affidavit in the first place not mentioned the army

The correct institution to produce his certificates is WAEC!

He should go to WAEC and produce his certificate or step down graciously before he goes to Prison again!
