What is the Five Digit Number?

What 5-digit number satisfies the
following requirements?

1. No zeroes

2. First two digits are the same

3. Fourth digit is twice the first

4. Last digit is twice the third

5. Sum of all digits is 18

I doff my hat for whoever gets this right...

4th digit twice the first= 4th (2, 4, 6 or 8 ).. 1st and 2nd (1, 2, 3 or 4)

Last digit twice the third = 5th ( 2, 4, 6 or 8 ).. 3rd (1, 2, 3 or 4)..

Total sum = 18.. Condition satisfied by ==> 3, 3, 2, 6, 4

given that X+X+Y+2X+2Y = 18.
wch gives 4X+3Y = 18.
using trial nd error, let X values range from 1,2,3,4,…
X as 1 nd 2 gives Y as fractions, so unacceptable.
so the lowest digit of X that gives Y as whole number is 3.
I. e 4(3)+3Y =18.
therefore, Y = 2,when X=3.
X+X+Y+2X+2Y = 18.
