I thought some people here on Nairaland said Jonnyboy won't get one vote in the North? From Kano to Zamfara, from Katsina to Sokoto all I see is people enjoying the fresh air. Not everyone buys this northern "we must rule" mantra then.

The emir disrespected himself when he ventured into politics. A traditional ruler should be non partisan, am sure many rulers learnt from Sanusi's mistake. Kano citizens wouldn't have endorsed Sanusi's shenanigans in the past.
