The North wants power by all means, which is why we hear boko haram and other stuffs. In Terms of CHANGE, Buhari stood no chance against Fashola which is why fashola was not even in the primaries. Its all internal politics, Fashola as a Uniben product is not a loser that's why he wasn't even in the primaries because he knows they want to give it to Buhari which is the reason for the merging of parties in the first place. Buhari wants to be president again by all means.

Kwankwaso is not loved the way Buhari is, he has lots of sympathizers in the north as well as in the south too. Unlike Kwankwaso whom can only garner votes from mainly Kano state.

CAMBRIDGE ASSESSMENT PLAYING POLITICS WITH NIGERIA

After several request made by some Nigerians as regards the authenticity of Buhari's 1961 certificate and whether or not Hausa was a subject at that time, this website:

came up with a response and even posted a link to a pdf file on their website claiming to be an archive file stating that Hausa was a subject.

But interestingly, the stamp on that file dates 23 Jan 2015 while the 1961 - 1962 was hand written. It appears they are trying to protect Gen. Buhari...Nigerians are smart people, you cant fool us. I urge our historians to please come out and tell us if truly Hausa was indeed a subject in Nigerian Schools in 1961.

The summary they are talking about summarises results to some decimal places that wont show very low numbers of subjects taken. To even suggest that in 1961 when the north was under the protection of the british over other tribes, they will accept yoruba but not Hausa for WASC is just the kind of intelligence without intellect that we are talking about.

The University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES), now known as Cambridge Assessment, in response to requests to authenticate a candidate’s exam certificate, today said: “We can only confirm or verify results at the direct request of or with the permission of a candidate.”

“This is in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.”

The organisation also confirmed that according to the Regulations for 1961, African Language papers, including those for Hausa were set for the West African School Certificate.

NOTES:

Examination results were classed in grades by 1 to 9. 1,2,3,4,5 & 6 indicate a Pass with Credit; 7 & 8 indicate a Pass; 9 indicates a Failure.
To pass the School Certificate, candidates had to pass examinations in a variety of groups. It was compulsory to pass English Language, but not Maths, in order to gain the Certificate.
The number of candidates who sat for the WASC Hausa examination in 1961 was 152.
Our records show that Hausa was set in the Northern Region in 1961.
