Poor pay for an ICAN graduate

The pay is not necessarily poor but not encouraging with all your specific requirements like the previous poster pointed out. I don't care if it's prior confirmation. Pesin go come resume, una go dey talk say sebi you no specify any particular salary increase after confirmation.

Lekki for that matter...thunder fire underemployment!

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Our client, a small sized geological company requires the immediate services of a young accountant in its AJah Lagos office.
The ideal candidate must;
• be a able to work with no supervision
• resident in Lekki or Ajah, Lagos
• be computer savvy
• have at least two years working experience in similar position
• have a full working knowledge of Sage 50 U.S Edition (Peachtree)
• have a qualified member of ICAN as guarantor
• resume duty on the 30th January 2015

Other Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
• highly developed integrity and moral character
• Minimum HND/B.sc Accounting
• Good writing and communication skills
• Ability to independently prepare and present reports

Responsibilities:
• Report directly to the CEO
• Prepare bank reconciliations statements
• Prepare budgets and monthly management reports
• Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures
• Prepare monthly payroll
• Post all accounting entries
• File statutory returns monthly

Remuneration is between N75,000 and N90,000 per month prior to confirmation and subjected to candidate’s qualifications, experience.

With all these requirements and responsibilities, gaskiya the pay is very low. How on earth can you imagine an ACA holder to accept that? And it's your type that complains a lot about bad government, if you guys are opportune to rule us (which God will never let such happen) the next thing is to annihilate unemployed graduates.
