Why do people say men shouldn't wear socks when on native attire? Of course I mean with cover shoes and not Palm sandals.

Frankly I find the wearing of shoes without socks disgusting and irritable.

Is there any explanation or justification for this rule?

Put the socks on and see for urself y u ain't supposed to wear socks with native dress. U'll look funny.

'people' are not always right even in the majority. same goes for tucking in on jeans which to me with a nice t-shirt looks smart. fashion, culture change with the times. in the past, there were no socks so it was not added to the getup.

I actually do it all the time. I don't think anyone has given me an odd look before. That's not to say I would wear blue or red or sports socks. I am talking black or grey.
