Delusion of grandeur of the highest order.

You make and break governments yet Col. Dimka begged Abacha for his life while MKO was dying in jail and most of your paper tigers had already fled the country with your kinsmen and your Obas shouting ''ranka dede'' to the same Sani Abacha? undecided...smh maybe you've also forgotten that Obasanjo was crowned by the North and he had to beg Atiku in Calabar for his second term to become a dream come through.

Abeg make una close that una amala mouth small as we are about to begin a new chapter in this 21st century fraud called one Nigeria. I just hope that you people are ready for the shifting political dynamics and not all these post civil war false glory and empty chest beating that doesn't hold water in today's world.
Epic 5 star post. Chop knuckle.

You can't just keep mute and watch people run wild with lies and warped ideologies.

The so-called civil war that has given them this false hope of conquest over other region in their deluded mind was actually fought by the entire region of the country against Biafra which was only the Igbo speaking people in the South East yet some people beat their chest as if they won Biafra using their military might all alone.Right now they are bragging about enthroning and dethroning governments yet Ilorin has an Emir.

Shamelessness itself is a disease.

Most bigot do not spend time to wonder how Jonathan, a president so loved by many managed to squander all the goodwill that he had.

This is not about religion or ethnicity. It is about the soul of Naija.

GEJ fall everybody hand, and deserves to go.

Thank you very much. If we are to face issues dispassionately then it will be obvious that GEJ has failed horrendously. Charles Soludo is the latest prominent voice to confirm this. As you surmised, GEJ enjoyed immense goodwill and backing in 2011. He squandered it wilfully by pandering to a corrupt, wicked and highly callous cabal consisting of the same set of AGIPs (any government in power) who have contrived to destroy Nigeria over decades.

GEJ and the PDP simply must go so that Nigeria can begin the very difficult process of turning around the damage 16 years of the PDP has done. The bigoted OP and his ilk can remain here pandering to their ethnocentric and vendetta-driven obsession with maligning an entire ethnic group but decent Nigerians, wherever they come from, know that this is entirely about the failings of GEJ over 5 years that has now led Nigeria to the precipice of total and traumatic breakdown.

My advice to President Jonathan and his handlers is
to stop wasting their time trying to campaign on his
job record. Those who have decided to vote for him
will not do so because he has taken Nigeria to the
moon. His record on the economy is a clear ‘F’ grade. As one reviews the laundry list of micro interventions the government calls its achievements, one wonders whether such list is all that the government could deliver with an unprecedented oil boom and an unprecedented public debt accumulation. I can clearly see why reasonable people are worried.

Everywhere else in the world, government
performance on the economy is measured by some
outcome variables such as: income (GDP growth
rate), stability of prices (inflation and exchange rate), unemployment rate, poverty rate, etc. On all these scores, this government has performed worse than its immediate predecessor— Obasanjo regime.
If we appropriately adjust for oil income and debt, then this government is the worst in our history on the economy. All statistics are from the National Bureau of Statistics.
Despite presiding over the biggest oil boom in our
history, it has not added one percentage point to the growth rate of GDP compared to the Obasanjo regime especially the 2003- 07 period. Obasanjo met GDP growth rate at 2% but averaged 7% within 2003- 07.
The current government has been stuck at 6%
despite an unprecedented oil boom. Income (GDP)
growth has actually performed worse, and poverty

escalated. This is the only government in our history where rapidly increasing government expenditure was associated with increasing poverty. The director general of NBS stated in his written press conference address in 2011 that about 112 million Nigerians were living in poverty. Is this the record to defend?

This alliance has only confirmed who Yorubas are in the eyes of the south south and middle belt.

If anything at all, no matter the outcome of the elections come February, the southwest will come out used and discarded.
