Me too, I have always loved competitive politics based on pertinent issues that affect the majority of the people. But if the vibrant politics will succeed in throwing up wrong candidates like it happened in Enugu East senatorial ticket where, after intense politicking by both Frank Nweke Jr. and Ifeoma Nwobodo were beaten by Nnaji, I will then support the quiet politics where people are undemocratically selected, we might stand a better chance at progress this way.

There is nothing like quiet politics. Enugu politics is simply civil and matured.
See how people took bribes and simply used a pen to cancel Stella Oduah's name and wrote Chris Uba Eselu's name on the ballot. While eselu never contested for PDP nomination at all. That is simply barbarism and usually leads to selecting the highest bidder, who may be the worst types of characters to represent the people.Which is exactly what causes lack of development in a place.Although i am a PDP member, but I hope and pray APGA defeats PDP in Anambra.

Anyway, let me just shut up and watch events unfold.

if Enugu continues like this, it will be force to be reckoned with in the next few decades. Enugu reminds me soo much pf Mauritius with it's beauty and tranquility. I hope this Ugwuanyi dude will take a leap from Sullivan and even surpass his achievements. Enugu has really been lucky with leaders. Chimaroake despite his shortcomings also contributed in no small measure to what Enugu is and Sullivan has taken Enugu to the next level. Nike Nike ka any ji alu olu. To God be the Glory.

If you go a little further down this road, you will get into the express road to PH. But we are going to the left of this picture, to a new place called the Bricks layout, and the Housing estates behind it.

Simply giving these houses solid Aluminium roofing/ glass windows and planting flowers/trees around them, will make them hot cakes!
I see they are already doing that with many of them.

Such buildings should not be left as uncompleted, if not dare devil armed robbers and kidnappers will use them as hideout to torment residents of Independence L/O.

The quietness does not connote civility and maturity rather it proves the opposite. During Anambra there was Ngige from the opposing camp likewise Nwoye, now in Imo State Rochas is facing the heat from both Ihedioha and Iheanacho, in Abia the people is trying to dismantle the Orji dynasty but having a strong opposition in APGA's Alex Otti to show everybody that the states belong to no cliques.

Imagine how consensus Igbo candidate was dropped in Ebonyi and nobody is rasing eyebrow. Why should Onyebuchi Chukwu be dropped in whom the entire igboland are well pleased but when Orji try it everybody is supporting Otti.

Democracy is sweet when your leave with an alternative

Oga Spyder,
How many are these buildings in Brick estate?

For security reasons,
i hope the state government will reallocate these building to those that will complete them or bulldoze them and reallocate the land.

These buildings are definitely being used by armed robbers and kidnappers from the looks of it. They have been abandoned for a long time and sit next to the homes of great Igbo people at Independence L/O. It's just the perfect place for criminals to use as hideout.

Oga spyder, how about the gulf city estate is it still in the pipeline? Is work still on going there or has it stopped? Please answer me are you into properties? If so can you give a list of properties you have in independence layout or new haven. I need cheap properties in those areas.

I am 100% into property acquisition and development. Work is seriously going on at the Golf estates as owners build and move into superb buildings. There are no cheap properties in Independence layout or New haven of Enugu. Very difficult to get plots below N10m in those two locations.
