The APC presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari is currently in Taraba State for the party’s presidential campaign rally. In Taraba, one woman at the forefront politically is Senator Aisha Jummai Al-Hassan who is the Taraba APC governorship candidate. She is a (current) Senator in the 7th National Assembly representing Taraba North (Senatorial District). She won the APC primaries with a landslide victory of 2425 votes defeating other candidates Ibrahim Tumba, Dr Julde S & Yusuf who polled 18, 5, and 14 votes respectively.
