I dont expect a landslide , when one factors there would be rigging mostly in PDP states, the collection rate of PVCs as at last count in some APC States are also not encouraging 36% in Lagos, 38% in Ogun , 37% in Imo, 48% in Oyo, 52% in Kano, all these states fall short of National average collection rate of 63%. I hope to witness an appreciable leap in PVC collection in those states, expecially lagos, Oyo and Kano, a man with no PVC can not be mobilized on election day.

A friend was just too enthusiastic and sure of A LANDSLIDE victory for his candidate Mr Buhari. Although he failed to buttress his submission with convincing reasons, I know he's influenced by social media.

I began to ask him, how many Northern politicians has he seen on Buhari's campaign rostrum? How many prominent Northern leaders has he sighted following Buhari?

How many Northern govs or ex govs has he heard speaking convincingly about Buhari's presidency? My guy was dumbfounded.

They are Nigerians living in Nigeria yet have made themselves enemies of Nigeria's progress for one reason or the other. The Country is horrible under GEJ. That is the truth any honest person that fears God will not even try to deny. Jonathan would not have a single supporter today , given how badly he has led Nigeria, if our country is like other nations where virtually all citizens want good leadership and ethnic, religious and sectional prejudice is not an issue. There is nothing at all to sell GEJ on in terms of the alleviation of our biggest perennial problems that have kept Nigeria underdeveloped over decades.

All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has promised to provide allowances to discharged but unemployed Youth Corps members for Twelve (12) months while in the skills and entrepreneurial development programmes, if elected in 2015. There is also the pledge to provide One Meal a day for all Primary school pupils.

Buhari/Osibanjo administration also vow to create a Social Welfare Program of at least Five Thousand Naira (N5000) that will cater for the 25 million poorest and most vulnerable citizens upon the demonstration of children’s enrolment in school and evidence of immunisation to help promote family stability.

“As a nation and the Sub Saharan Africa’s leading energy producer, we had in the past squandered the opportunity to build functional infrastructure to better the lives of the average Nigerian. We can no longer afford this luxury of inactivity. We must revive our public and private sectors in order to provide functional services and secure the good of the individual Nigerian and his or her family,” Buhari said in a document that reveals some of his plans for 2015.

In addition am sure that any poll conducted in the SW part of the country is most likely going to favour GMB considering that his running mate is from SW.

When you also consider the fact that nairaland (no matter how you want to look at it) has more of SWners registered, Sai Buhari must win here(Nigerian are yet to total eliminate sentimental sense of judgement and until we do that, development will continue to be a problem)

But be that as it may Nigeria needs to be revived therefore who the cap fits let him/she wear.
