Members of the Labour Party(LP) in Osun State on Tuesday adopted President Goodluck Jonathan and other candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state ahead of the general elections starting February 14.

The Senatorial Leader of the LP, Dr. Bolarinwa Adedokun, led representatives of the LP from across the 10 local government areas in the Osun Central Senatorial District to declare support for Jonathan at the campaign rally of the PDP senatorial candidate for Osun Central, Mr. Oluwole Aina, in Osogbo.
Adedokun said that members of the LP decided to support PDP candidates because the two parties were “identical twins” and that Jonathan deserved the support of the majority of Nigerians because he had done well despite the numerous challenges facing his administration.

The PDP candidate, while addressing the crowd of party supporters, appealed to the people of the state to vote for candidates of the party during the elections.

Aina said, “I want every Nigerian to weigh the presidential candidates of the PDP and that of the All Progressives Congress before voting.
“Jonathan has carried out many reforms in the economic sector. Railway was resuscitated years after it had been abandoned. Electricity supply was improved upon. Lagos- Ibadan Expressway is almost competed now by his administration and we can go on and on to state his achievements.

“But on the contrary, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), stopped the metro line which would have been the first in Africa when he was the head of state.

“Is this the man you want to vote for? Do you want to vote for a tyrant who just clamped innocent people in prison without proper trial?”

Wonders of 21billion

Don't wanna sound somehow about this, but the "adoption" by LP and 'various' parties show Goodluck is the REAL change. I overheard someone saying; It's Goodluck or none else, you can't be on the "fence" of decision. It is either you choose GOODLUCK or you go with BADLUCK. I was startled to his word but his last word that "I HAVE SET BEFORE YOU GOODLUCK(life) AND BADLUCK(death),CHOOSE YE THIS DAY WHO YOU WANT AS YOUR PRESIDENT. CHOOSE GOODLUCK THAT THOU MAY HAVE "LIFE" brings out truth of today's politics. I was nonplussed at the creativity of the man.

Osun, the only state in SW that PDP cannot get 100k votes. .. if they like let them take Jonathan as there governorship candidate.
