Flets:Mr man it seems u re the ignorant one. If u mention 6.7 trillion on petroleum products alone, what of over 5 trillion accrued from tax alone per year. What of like 4trillion on import duty. Sum up everything and know how much we re getting as a country. The time for change has come and it will blow big time. |

KEVIND:Let me take you up on the bold: In 2011, the National Assembly budgeted around 500 billion Naira for fuel subsidy payment. In 2012 following the subsidy protest and the probes that emanated, it was found that marketers were paid a total of 1.7tr. Question: Where did the Jonathan see the money to pay/share with the marketer since National Assembly did not budget for it? (And have you noticed how PDP successful swept the whole fraud under the rug? Otedola and others are walking scot-free because they are funding Jonathan's reelection) You should join the call for the fresh 30tr allegation to be properly investigated and not holding brief for Jonathan and his crew. |

Zico5: He brought our hard facts and figures before inputing his variables and coming out with a logical figure...you on the other hand bandy figures about like trillions are going out of fashion.Pls where did you get your indices to come up with "4 trillion import duty' and "5 trillion tax"??!.... Change is when APC stop scamming Nigerians with lies and propaganda. |

Pensions Alliance Limited also known as PAL pensions with its head office in Marina has just sacked a total of 40 staff who have served the company assiduously. The bespectacled MD, Mr. Dave Uduanu has been in the habit of sacking staff on an annual basis without any empathy or flinch. Information gathered has it that the most affected staff are of the South Western extraction and they will be replaced by Mostly Eastern staff as that has been the trend. One of the staff who he recently fired is said have just come back from India, where she went to make a kidney donation. The lady is of the South Western extraction and she happens to also be one of the pioneer staff like the rest of the pack. The staff who are mainly bread winners are in shock and unhappy with this development. Mr. Dave, who is referred to as very arrogant and callous by his staff is currently in Abuja and we will like him to come out to explain why he has chosen this line of action in an organization that is doing relatively well. It is also in good authority that Dave does not espouse the Federal Character as enshrined in the Nigerian Constitution. (Modify) (Quote) (Report) (Share) |

They recruited Obasanjo as a navigator yet their ship is still taking so much water. They paid billions to American consultants and other fifth columnists to calumniate the government, yet patriotic Nigerians are not giving in to their desperation. They elected to demonise and blackmail IBB to support doomed a aspiration, yet IBB maintains that he would always stand for national interest. Now they have promised a failed politician of an ex-CBN governor an appointment if they succeed in obtaining power under highfallutin circumstances, and this malcontent of an economist is already exceeding his brief with preposterous statements. Nigerians, beware of desperados! |

Kennywills7:I'm sorry for you to say youth unemployment is less now. There's a big difference between unemployment and youth unemployment. General unemployment has risen from 22% to 50% (if you're in doubt, check the internet for the current unemployment rate) Goto the hospitals and ask when was the last time a doctor, physio, nurse, pharmacist, lab scientist etc was employed. Goto your state civil service and ask the last time civil servants where absorbed. Goto the military, and ask when was the last time Nigerians where recruited as cadets officer. Just name every sector of the economy, do you research and then comeback with superior logic. Don't be defensive, just do your research and disprove the facts I stated. |

BlackTechnology:. . I expected you to breakdown the highlighted headline for him... . The AU indicted Jonathan because all traces of lost funds across africa was traced down to Nigeria... It means that... The AU funds has always been stolen and that most african countries pass through Nigeria to receive their funds... And The estimated lost through transfer has always been wired from Nigeria...that Jonathan should give account of every AU affiliated organizations and bodies that has been illegally receiving funds approved from AU. . . The AU have organizations they sponsor...acros africa... . It was a summit, whatever lost that they might have should be as a result of their poor management...approving and transferring funds. . Is Jonathan the one collecting this funds? . Mehn....u shld try and be thinking! |

dokyOloye:children that refuses to learn. do you understand what mismanagement means? i bet you don't. example: a business manager may waste the assets, get into debt in multiples of what it really spends or worth. do you understand that?\ now, when 400,000 mb of crude oil is stolen daily, money from crude oil sales is missing to the tune of $20b etc, that is where mismanagement or theft comes in. budget of the federal govt. - the money they spend for federal employees, roads, etc, is not the same thing with what Nigeria is making or ought to make. please, always read before you start disgracing this country. there are many other people apart from Nigerians reading from this forum |
