Don't mind all those APC propaganda people on Nairaland, most of whom don't even live in Lagos, that come here and scream like the APC is a party of saints.Those of us that live in Lagos know how corrupt Tinubu is. We know about all his real estate scams on the Island, Plycon and other proxy companies that Tinubu uses to Launder our money. We know about Alphabeta and the massive corruption that goes on at the secretariat in Alausa. You can fool all these guilible people on twitter and Nairaland, but you can't fool us, the owners and inhabitants of Lagos.

The reason given are fairly shallow and errorneous

It says:

Lagos, Delta, Rivers among other states were categorized as very corrupt, which is evident in the values of their respective indices, and this explains the case with Lagos that rakes in more than a billion dollar annually yet, over half of its population lives in abject poverty, in similar vein Delta and Rivers are high net states with low fiscal saturation.

It sites the high income revenue and poverty rate as an illustration. First of all, a mistake was made. The poverty rate for lagos is given as 48% but here it says 'over half of the population'. That kind of error is very bad for a serious research or one that should be given serious consideration.

The IGR of the state does not determine the poverty rate. Government has to implement policies to create jobs so that money trickles down to the ones. That seems to be a very weak illustration.

What is the basis of the calculations? Were surveys taken?
