Today i want to show you how i installed a 2.5Kva inverter manufactured by SPECTRA.
The spectra inverter has an output capacity of 2.5Kva large enough to power a sizable set of household or office appliances such as: tube Lights, fans, DVDs/LCDs, TVs, computers, fridge etc

Unlike the previous model of sukam and luminous inverter with has an input voltage of 36v, the spectra inverter can accommodate 24v of battery.
This means that you buy less battery which saves you cost

Normally I would have used two 12v battery, but my client already has four set of 6v battery.
All I had to do was connect the four 6v batteries in series to make up the 24v.

it's 225 (AH), I don't have 6v for now, but I can supply you 12v battery at your convinent

Like i said i dont sell 6v battery, i asked my client about the details and he said its 200AH and he bought it second hand at N15,000 each.
Normally i dont think you can get the new sets because they are American products and very expensive, you only see used ones

I dont have a small inverter for now unless the locally made inverter, which i wont recommend
The least inverter i have is 0.8kva which can power 2 fans, 3 Bulbs and 1Television/Desktop Computer for 10hours.

The N80,000 is the cost of only the 2.5kva Inverter, i havent included the cost of batteries and other accessories
The cost of the 0.8kva is N95k, this covers all the materials ranging from Inverter, battery, Installation and other accessories.

it was sad that the marketer who sold a 3.5kva su- kam 48 volts inverter and 4 12volts 200AH batteries, connected the 4 batteries in series to achieved a 46 volts output, but telling heavily on the batteries, there by lowering the AH strength.
How many batteries do i need to achieve 48volts, if conection are made in series and parallel?
