In school hostel nothing like Arm robbery or Cult attack (except the school is really corrupt) the school is incharge of ur safety they protect u from indigenes during riots

COST OF LIVING

I can bet it with you the cost of living in school hostel is damn low (am an hostelite)
-all you need is ur book,cloth and food compare to off campus u have to buy carpet/rug,painting room buy table and chair,cloth hanger e.t.c i will tell u i av never cook with a kerosine stove for d past 6months

AVAILABILITY OF ELETRICITY AND WATER

Availability of almost 24hrs light trust me the school will av atleast 3 to 4 lines running and standby generator 7-10pm compare to houses off campus wia ur landlord will keep only 2 line sometimes 1...u drink borehole water nt well water i av alot of peeps that complain abt water especially dry season

MEETING NEW PEOPLE

In the school hostel u get to meet new friends and get new experiences/ how to relate and behave with people,u meet people that re not in ur department infact faculty sometimes since the school is big sometimes u might nt get to knw peeps like dat buh the school hostel keep u connected like mtn

FINALLY: READING AND SERIOUSNESS

In school hostel tins are done accordingly cuz thier is time fir everytin
1. Time for aro(fun : common in all hostels)
2. During exams peeps troop out to read even (if you no wan read sef ur mind go change)
3.Easy access to school library and reading room

yea. School in Nigeria. For example UNIBEN. Uniben run generator from 7pm to about 11pm or 12am everyday when there is no NEPA light. I can bet you, there is constant light in that school except there is a problem beyond human control @ that time..

There is nothing good dan staying in d hostel for at least 2 academic sessions. If you are not wise, you will be taught to be wise.
Hostel life is fun. Students in AWO hall(OAU) can attest to dis. Aro on point.
