If you realize that he is HAPPY where he is, then how can you in the same breath say that he is spiritually frustrated?

I mean, the person who prays to invisible sky fairy every day for this or for that is a lot more likely to be spiritually frustrated than a person who does not.

Don't you think so?
Ahhh plaetton. A different kettle of fish entirely, you are.

I was being sarcastic. If he is so frigging happy, why does he keep asking questions all the time? Its just that am not a gung-ho bible weilding type of christian. I don't believe anyone should be forced into accepting anything. So I backed off and let him be.

As per your second paragraph, that's what you think and you are entitled to your opinion. The fact that it is a wrong opinion does not stop you from declaring it so go ahead.

Pls show me where I have used abusive words on you so I can apologise.
Ok, let me quote 'you come of as an intelligent person but in actual fact you are a highly frustrated person' I guess the statement above is a blessing and not an insult in your religion. Pls stop playing nice guy, it does not tell well of you.

Some of the most powerful and intelligent men in history(both good and bad) have been spiritually inclined so this your statement is not correct. Google is your friend.

Lol... Ya, I bet they were all Christians. I am not here to buy lies. Is Bill gate or Mandela or princess Diana a member of your Church?

Not to find your creator but to find peace. God has shown you the door already. It is left for you to open it, He doesn't force anybody.

Of course you don't need help because you are not ready for it. When you are ready, you will seek it.

Shalom.

You think the best way I can find peace is to believe in the bible? You sit down in the comfort of your home and assume I have no peace? Do you know that's arrogant? When I attack you based on your false assumption of me, do not play the victim

What question am I asking? I have come to notice you are just good at assumptions. Did I ask you any question like I need help?

I only debunk replies I feel does not go well with my sense of natural order of things. Or ask debunking questions that I know would make nonsense of your replies... How doew that mean I have no peace.

Trust me guy... I can be arrogant with words too.

1. Show me the insult there. Is it 'frustrated'? Would you put it in the same category as 'useless' 'incompetent' or your most recent 'fool'?
Like I said. You don't argue for resolution. You argue for argument sake. Your idea of winning an argument is you getting the last word. Have fun doing so.

2. No, those are your words. I spelt it out clearly spiritually minded people both good and evil but of course your biased mind didn't see that part. You just feel all christians are the same religious bunch that don't think and follow their leaders blindly. So you attack all christians for no reason. Sounds like frustration to me.

3. Feel free to attack me oh. After all you quoted me first. Who is asking you to believe in the bible? I already said I have left you to your machinations. God gave you free will, do with it as you want.

1. Is calling me 'frustrated' a blessing or an insult? When you answer this then we can start comparing it with anything I called you afterwards.

2. What the hell is 'spiritually minded person' I am not cut out for phrases that makes no sense to me.

3. Ok

1, its an observation, not a blessing or an insult. Its definitely better than calling someone a fool.

2. Well put. That summarises your arguments very well.

The more you know how the world works, the less relevant God becomes, when someone discovers the cure for cancer, HIV etc less and less people would go to church, if a brilliant economist solves world poverty, Christianity would become extinct. That's why most of these pulpit pimps like Benny Hinn, T.D Jakes, Kenneth Copeland are looking to Africa, the more desperate, impoverished, ignorant a people are the more you find God, ask yourself why advanced countries like Sweden, Spain, Russia have more atheists there yet continue to prosper? yet God-lovers in Africa, Haiti and other shit holes around the world continue to suffer?

AMEN. A truer statement I have simply never read.

It works in many ways, many of which I do not understand. But rest assured that fictional 'gods' from Middle Eastern mythology is no part of the answer. As societies become more developed and educated, these ideas disappear, which is why religious scammers like the catholic church and American evangelists are now concentrating their efforts on Third World places like Africa, where a lack of educational opportunities make the local population more susceptible to their brainwash ignorance.

The richest pastor in the world is from a developed country. The largest church in the world is in a developed country. Development and civilization will never eliminate christianity
.
You sound uninformed, there are christians that are scientists. Christianity is not against development.

Of course the "richest pastor in the world" is from a developed country. He will have had the available resources, the reach (through telecoms infrastructure) and the education and exposure to access a large audience for his snake oil. But where is almost all the growth in religion? NOT in the developed or educated world. Where is the new emphasis of the pope, American televangelists and muslim morons? It is in Africa and other parts of the developed world where a huge reservoir of undereducated, deprived and socially underdeveloped masses reside. This is a perfect market for Christianity and other nonsense to bloom in. If you do not believe that Christianity and religion are dying in all educated, progressive societies, then you obviously do not have much travel and exposure. The church, the pope and the televangelists are all very aware that the future of religion is in the third world (where people are not only susceptible to mythology, but backward enough to admire a pastor for being rich!!).

Now let's talk about religion generally. In Europe especially UK, what is growing faster, islam or atheism?

That proves nothing, surely you can't ignore the fact that the poorest countries the world have a very high religious population (Nigeria for example) while the richest countries in the world have a high atheistic community (UK).

Among the (third world-born) immigrant community and dejected, uneducated, alienated youths, Islam. Among the educated, stable classes, atheism's growth is almost complete and has very little growth left before it encompasses everyone.

I sure know your God, wasted 8 years of my life worshiping a God that doesn't even exist - your God is all knowing right? Omniscient, so if I die and go to hell he must have known that before he created me, so in a way I'm doing God's will, please don't deceive me, I don't want to fxck up God's divine plan. grin

P.S
I wish hell really existed though, a lot cool people would be there. wink cheesy

Religion questions that requires an answer.

1. In the days of our fore fathers where devil, obatala, ogun etc were been worshipped, their marriage always last long and couples lived together till death do them apart, how come people in this generation blames broken marriage as lack of christ/God/Allah in their marriages?.

2. Deeperlife and mfm uses wool and condemns weavons, from the knowledge of chemistry, aren't both of them produced from synthetic fibres? And aren't they both classified as attachments?.

3. Some people preach against use of jewellery as a sin, is wedding ring not part of jewellery?, why is it not a sin?, if the use of wedding ring is backed up in the bible, where is the verse?.

4. Christian denomination prevent members of their church from getting married to another church member. For instance, I loosed a girl I once loved so much because I attend winners and she attends deeper-life. Her parents said its either I join their church or I back-off their daughter. I simply used the second option. Like seriously, are we not calling on the same christ? Are we not praying through the same channel?. Is there any biblical backing against inter-church union?.

5. Why are atheists doing well in technology productions, doing well in medicals, engineering?, and so many inventions?. And the only invention we have in nigerian religion is only MIRACLES?.

6. Why are some crusade rallies filled with promises of healing the dead, healing the blind and cripples?, and in most cases, non of the promises would be fulfilled?.

7. why is that when we are sick and needed medical attention urgently, we never cared to ask if the doctor is a muslim or christian?, when applying for job, we never cared to know if the employer is an herbalist or babalawo?, but when it comes to religious forum, we are always violent at opposite religion? .

8. Why is smoking and drinking beer a sin?, and yet, people who got employed by sona breweries and BAT rush to the church for testimony?. Is it God that provide the job of working/producing what he despised?.

9. If those churches are really the temple of God filled with holy spirit?, how come boko haram are succeeding in bombing them?,

10. Different men of God had been cursing and praying against boko-haram since time memorial. How come boko haram and insurgent still exist?.
