Awwww!! Was he about to cry?

What you saw from Okupe was an outburst occassioned by morbid fear and frustration about what is to come

What is his business with whoever Nigerians chooses to govern them

Why shout yourself hoarse over a matter that is not yours to decide but the electorates

And he kept shouting "it will not happen" over and over again. It is a glimpse into the mindset of the PDP that they are very afraid of the General and could do anything to scuttle his electoral success.

There is a major similarity between these two statements, Nigerians really need to brace up for the challenges ahead. These are going to be interesting times that will go down in history as a major landmark in our existence.
raumdeuter:

The President media led by Doyin Okupe held a press conference to discredit Buhari and he got the unexpected

Doyin Okupe : General Buhari is not electable and would not be elected by the grace of God, And why I am saying that is this, Nigeria would not have a president that has not gone to school, This is not going to happen, In Nigeria it will not happen, In Nigeria it would not [/b]happen

Video in the link below

Deji Adeyanju, an aide of Doyin Okupe, the Senior Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan on Public Affairs, has been quoted as having said the government will prefer a military coup than handing over to the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari.
Adeyanju reportedly made the statement in a Blackberry Messenger message.

The statement was further posted on Facebook, a bromide of which is used to illustrate this news report.
The APC Presidential Campaign Organisation in a statement on Saturday by its spokesperson, Mallam Garba Shehu, took up Adeyanju on the issue.
In the statement, the APC Presidential Campaign Organization asked the general public to ponder on a statement posted on Facebook by an official of the Presidency saying their government will rather hand over power to the military than to Buhari in the event that the APC candidate wins the election.

The Blackberry Messenger statement by Adeyanju said: “Buhari can never be President of Nigeria. Quote me any day any time. Instead of Buhari to become President of Nigeria, Nigeria would rather break. A military coup will even be allowed than for Buhari to become the president of a democratic Nigeria quote me any day, any time.”

Shehu said in the statement: “Unless it is convincingly rebutted, the statement above, by the ruling party appears to clearly be uninterested in free, fair and conclusive elections, but rather to engender crisis and chaos if it happens that the APC candidate, General Buhari wins the elections.

“This revelation in a public statement via the BBM would appear to support the PDP’s avowed determination to rule for 60 years, a boast echoed repeatedly by some former national chairmen of the party. The boast however did not reckon with the emergence of the All Progressives Congress and the determination with which the party mobilized and stuck together to confront the PDP that over time had prided itself with invisibility.

“We of the APC hereby call on all Nigerians to be vigilant and ensure that no one is allowed to truncate the 2015 elections. It is also important that all Nigerians allow peace to reign and insist on free and fair polls to assist the process of peaceful and democratic transition.
“Similarly, our party, the APC is confident that the men and women of our patriotic Armed Forces and the Police, including other security agencies would discharge their obligations without fear or favour and ensure that the 2015 polls is not only free and fair but also credible leading to the installation of a popular-elected government that will improve the well-being of Nigerians.

I see a Laurent Gbagbo / Allasane Quattara kind of impasse ahead in Nigeria.

The grand plan that PDP has against the opposition is not something to be toyed with

These people seem ready to destroy Nigeria in order to have their way

Was it not an aide to this bast.ard Okupe called Deji Adeyanju that said it on twitter that people should quote him that rather than Buhari to rule Nigeria, the Military had better launch a Coup

What i see in all of these is that the impunity, corruption and level of looting they have perpetrated will cause an earthquake if someone else ever gets to become the President hence their resolve to burn down Nigeria if need be rather allow Buhari to become the President

All the threats of war of the Militants is not because of any resource control should Jonathan lose,it is an orchestrated plan to ensure that Buhari's anti-corruption anger is not allowed to ever find a landing place anywhere in Nigeria

The wicked and the Corrupt are really afraid

Listen to the man carefully. What's his own? Is it not up to Nigerian to decide at the polls?

The fact is, election or no election, they are not relinquishing power to GMB no matter what, this is no longer about election, this is holding on to power by any means necessary because they are doing whatever to dodge going to jail...

It is understandable as people are still miffed with the apple cart upset with the election postponement.

Give it some days and the emotional outbursts would be dissipated and then people will begin to face reality.
Re: Doyin Okupe Embarassed By Journalists by WisdomFlakes: 5:50am On Feb 08, 2015
It is clear even to the blind that GEJ's desperation to hang onto power at all costs will be his undoing. Whether he likes it or not, he will not be re-elected. His brand has been damaged irretrievably.
