Barely 24hrs after Prof Jega announced the shift in d dates of polls in nigeria, some of d world leaders have reacted by hailing the idea.Obama saw it as wise idea because majority of electorates are yet to receive their PVCs.Derby said d idea will enable the armed forces concentrate on NE insurgence war.Same opinion was expressed by Niger president.China president saw nothing bad in d idea since the May 29 d handing over date to a newly elected president is not affected. He advised inec to take d advantage d prosponement provides to correct few lapses with d didttibution of pvcs. The president of France saw nigeria as d best country to invest and therefore hail d prosponement for adequate preparation by inec. The OAU unanimously endorsed the shift to ensure bokoharam is defeated.World obesrvers saw this as a wise idea bec they had said that they wont observe d election,in d NE.With d shift they hope d insurgence would have been defeated an so they can observe NE election.Ban kin moon hailed d Fed govt decision.

1.5m Nigerians in the North East alone would have been disenfranchised due to Boko Haram. There is also the issue of distribution of PVC by INEC.

I hope in the next 6 weeks the military will consolidate on the war on Boko Haram and keep the peace so that the North East people can vote.

Buhari suggested that because only 14 out of the 774 local government was at war then the quantity is too small to warrant the postponement. But thats not the point. The point is even 1 LGA is too large and it is never too late to try to defeat terror and include more people in the democratic process. We cant leave the North East behind.

The U.S has already issued a statement, expressing their disappointment over the postponement of the election through its State Department. So what on earth are you talking about? OP, keep lying to yourself.
