Point of correction, The Egyptian National team has won it for the record of 6 times, while the black stars of Ghana won it on 4 times, so if Ghana won it this time around, they would still be behind the Egyptian National team.

In addition, the Nigerian team beat Mali 4-1 to secure their place in the finals while Mali went on to beat Ghana 3-1 to take the third place in the AFCON 2013. Nigerian team was surely not a mediocre team !

I would not lie, I was supporting the Ivorians but it was not because of hate of Ghana but I am a Man City fan and I believe Yaya deserves more recognition as one of the football greats.

If not that, I would have supported Ghana all the way. You guys were my second favorites from day one. I like your young squad and I believe you guys are promising.
