And when this TV rights' cash gets distributed, even relegation candidates like Leicester would be making £60m - a figure top teams like Porto, Benfica, Psg, Celtic etc happen to pocket from broadcast revenue in their respective leagues.

Raumdeuter should get a long rope and a strong beam to tie it to. The BPL keeps proving him wrong cheesy
.
How are they proving me wrong? By being abysmal in European competition?

Dayo I believe you know what UEFA coefficients are?

I also take it that you know the basis for the UEFA coefficients - which is the performance of teams in the European Cups during a five year period.

As it stands, the EPL is ranked second after La Liga in the UEFA country coefficients and this is based on what their representatives have been able to do in Europe for the past five years.

So tell me, how badly are we doing in European Competitions? cheesy

2014/2015 3 EPL teams left in the CL only 1 topped its group

2013/2014 1 EPL team made the semi finals

2012/2013 No EPL team made it to the quarter finals

Thats how badly EPL teams are doing in Europe

The only reason the EPL is second is on coefficients is because of the 2010/2011 season when Man Utd made the CL finals almost 4yrs ago

Remove that season and the EPL falls from second

Actually, the EPL are where they are today on that coefficients because Chelsea chose to stay competitive in Europe.

The EPL garnered enough points from Chelsea's several semi-finals finish, 2012 Champions League triumph, 2013 Europa League triumph and of course last season's Champions League semi-final finish.

We've done enough for the league in the past five years.

Speaking of 2014/15, how are you lot even better?

We've both got 3 reps left in the UCL and 2 reps left in the Europa league.

Not to mention the humiliation your brothers Wolfsburg and Schalke suffered in our hands cheesy

Actually you are very wrong

The Bundesliga has 4 reps left in the CL'

Bayern and Dortmund topped their groups which had EPL teams in it

Leverkusen and Schalke were second in their group

My bad. I thought Leverkusen failed to progress.

Well, let's see how the teams get to perform in the KO stages.

I'm pretty sure we would revisit this debate in some weeks time.

PS: Everton and Chelsea topped their groups that had German teams in it cheesy

I keep failing miserably eachtime I try to pick up a fault in that dude's game.

He's got pace, good positioning, great footwork and is a clinical finisher. He isn't lazy, you'll find him working the channels and getting involved in his team's build-up to a goal.

Dude seems like a perfect striker.

Just wondering how many FPL managers that'd celebrate that goal cheesy

First season coupled with audacious confidence.

I haven't really seen anything special about kane to be honest.

Once defenders start paying attention to him,and figure out his game, then we will see.

Andy Johnson, Kevin Phillips,James Beattie are fellow englishmen who had 1 mad season followed by careers of mediocrity.

Kane might just be an English Michu....good movement off the ball and good finishing...but nothing special

Scoring every now and then makes him special.

Most celebrated great goalscorers didn't really possess special skills, they only knew how to bury the ball in the onion bag and that alone made them special.

Owen, Drogba, Nisterooy, Raul, Shearer, Inzaghi et al comes to mind.

Everything is in place for Kane to flourish. An attacking team with an impressive array of creative players and a manager who believes in him.

Let's not forget he's just 21 and there's always a room for improvement.

Ramires hardly misses out on this kinda play, so I'm guessing he's the dude behind Willian.

Triple or quadruple sef. The new deal is through the roof. £4.4bn or 45% increase was predicted, but a £5.1bn or 70% increase deal was eventually struck.

You may be right...but I think Kane is a slightly above average striker with a huge ego, playing in a team that allows him to express himself.

Yesterday he tried to volley over mignolet from the centre circle....even his own mother wouldn't agree that her son is good enough to score that kind of goal.

He is not competing for the number 9 spot with anybody at this point in time, and he's putting the ball away regularly, and so the manager has to keep servicing his ego...for now.

It'll be interesting to see how he gets on next year, where Spurs would be expected to improve on this season...especially if they eventually get into the CL.

I don't believe that Spurs would prosecute next season with Kane as 1st choice striker.

BBC 5 Live radio caught up with probably the happiest Chelsea fan on the planet this week.

Dean Clay, a Chelsea fan from Southampton, hit the headlines last weekend after he turned a £2 bet into over £92,000.

Mr Clay made a 14-game accumulator last weekend when West Brom drew with Burnley. After realising his achievement, the fan admitted his head “went to mush”.

Dean Clay predicted wins for Southampton, Chelsea and Crystal Palace, but was too nervous to watch the last of his 14 games, so discovered the result while he was out playing golf.

The 48-year-old said he knew nothing about the £23,000 bonus that was added to his £69,000 win until he returned to the bookies yesterday.

Mr Clay explained that his wife is pregnant and they plan to use the winning towards buying a new house.

2-freaking pounds? That's 620-freaking-naira cheesy
