According to Bloomberg Billionaires, Nigeria's richest man Aliko Dangote lost almost half of his $21billion in 6 months. Is this true? And how did it happen?

His shares in Dangote Cement is usually factored in his net worth. since the share price has fallen so badly, this is expected. Just watch out, in not too distant future, you'll read that Dangote doubled his net worth in 6 months once the stock market recovers

By having the Western Nigeria dollar. It means dangote would have only lost $1billion , which are likely the money dangote has in the bank and in cash.. while his asset would have been protected. Which will be about $23 billion.
