After the AFCON, the new FIFA football ranking released today 12th February 2015, sees Nigeria step up by one place from 43rd to 42nd in the world. Nigeria is No. 7 in Africa.

Meanwhile, South Africa dropped 4 places from 52 to become No. 56 in the world and fell to 14th in Africa even after going to the AFCON.

Most people dont understand how FIFA does this ranking.... including myself.

Uhm that's good... I still don't get how FIFA does this ranking. But I think Nigeria just moved cos of lack of competitive / friendly matches, so no points gained.

FIFA is as unorganised as Nigeria while Sepp Blatter is as clueless and corrupt as GEJ and his disciples.

When we were playing well, they were taking us down the ranks, now that we arent even playing, we are climbing up the ranks.
