A pastor with the Assemblies of God Church in Mkpani area of Yakurr LGA in Cross River State and 2 others who accompanied him on a pastoral visit have been beheaded by irate youths in Ediba and slaughtered . Confirming the incident, the state police commissioner, Henry Fadairo confirmed that the pastor and 2 others who initially declared missing were yesterday found beheaded.

This is very sad, heard there have been a land dispute in Abi area between Adadama and Ekwo for some time, almost everyone knows it, the Governor visited there to try and create peace but it didn't bring a positive result as they kept on fighting after he left. The pastor should have just avoided the area, wonder what made him enter a war Zone. RIP to him and the others, May God Protect us All
