Correct...and even if he was treating the gent....the fact remains that you cannot release details of anyone's medical records without the person's consent or without a valid court order.(and you better have a valid reason prepared for His Honor).

And any doctor releasing details of the patient's private records is bound to have his license revoked because he has committed a crime.

A neurosurgeon basically is a surgeon who specializes in surgical complaints/problems of the nervous system....ie he operates to remove things like brain tumors, etc....as well as treat trauma to the CNS.

A doctor who treats mental illness would be(preferably) a psychiatrist, or a family physician.

Talk about town is that Jimi Agbaje is HIV positive, so I guess this is his attempt to divert attention from his health. See how different he looks in real life when they can't do photoshop for him

Are you saying a HIV positive man or woman cannot run for office?

HIV positive people number in their millions in Nigeria. Many of them have been managing their condition for years without any problem. So long as you take your meds....you will be OK.

If a patient's private information is disclosed without authorization and causes some type of harm to the patient, he or she could have a cause of action against the medical provider for malpractice, invasion of privacy , or other related torts.

The yeye doctor should be lectured on the ethics of his job.
