I don't mean to hurt anyone feeling but that syndrome is common to 9930 and other refurbished bold 5 if you get a good one u will enjoy fast typing and best camera phone at "night"

I bought a brand new 9900(direct purchase from RIM), it rolled over and died.
Although I received another 9900 under warranty.
