Please house, I have been driving a toyota camry car 1996 model to be precise( popularly known as orobo). I have never had any increase from the temperature, the gauge is usually on zero, but since this month, each time I put on the car the temperature rises to half way. Someone said it is because the hot weather in the north. Please advice.

You should have been worried from the start when your temperature gauge was on zero. It means either your thermostat is not in place or its bad. Ideally it should rise up to the middle point of the gauge.

better don't touch that car. there's nothing wrong with it.

With your fans steady and your thermostat removed, temp should be at a very low level, but with the a.c on or on a very hot day in the north, (adamawa) your temp will climb top the middle, in slow moving traffic.
