The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Major General Buhari has shut down Maiduguri, Borno state. Recall that the Borno State Government, Kashim Shettima, declared today a work-free day for his visit to the state to enable the people of the state welcome Buhari for his campaign rally. The public holiday has paid off as almost if not all Borno residents came out en masse and lined up the streets to welcome the people's general.
