Democracy is good, any one can criticized the president or even insult the govt and get away with it.
The people that was born 80s will not understand.

FELA BBC, Big Blind Country..... and Beasts of No Nation

Malam Buhari
1: Truncated democracy
2: promised he would ensure that SHARIA LAW gets to all part of the country
3: Asked MUSLIMS TO VOTE ONLY MUSLIM
4: REFUSED to ATTEND OPUTA PANEL when invited
5: Put Shagari in HOUSE ARREST and DR Alex Ekwueme in PRISON ,even though it was proven that Ekwueme DID NOT steal
6: Executed 75% of PTF projects in the NORTH and distributed the remaining 25% among other regions when he was the PTF chairman
7: Banned the Nigerian Medical Association
8: Used SOLDIERS TO FORCE price control
jailed Fela Kuti in 1984 for 5y What was Fela’s crime? Singing against military govt ??
Can someone who did not allow his government be criticized and UNJUSTLY ARRESTED those who criticized his government be
given that opportunity to lead again, etc?

“So I’m saying Nigerians should be
prepared to deal with any new
betrayals by any ruler with the same
kind of passion, commitment and
understanding of a lack of alternative
as they did with Sani Abacha, because
we cannot continue this cycle of
repetitious evil and irresponsibility.”

His last statement says it all. IRRESPONSIBILITY should be stamped out

These young APC members who want change, have you taken time to read the history of your presidential candidate, @least. He ruled Nigeria before what did he do, he is only coming back to rule because of the northern people, this man don't have your interest at heart, be wise and and don't assist someone in dividing Nigeria. What did he do when he ruled before, don't sale your vote for #2000 and allow the future generation suffer, don't just come out to say we need need change, how well do you know buhari
i dont care...baba go,i follow.....

It is an affront to the our collective sensibilities for Buhari to come back at the helm, because of disenchantment with Jonathan. I agree that the malaise in the country is a rot that started a while ago. When zamfara governor invoked their right to islamisation of zamfara, Obasanjo turned a blind eye. He thought the bold experiment will wither and dies. Ofcourse, we are all now reaping the wind. Some of us that raised an alarm about the divisiveness of that move, were accused of intolerance. Yet certain nitwits in this forum blame jonathan administration for Islamist tendency in the north. I will blame jonathan for building Almajiri schools. This is very divisive as well as other schemes that promote idleness in northern youth. Their vision of going to heaven and martyrdom is the game changer. Soyinka, that I have met and especially like must step up and name the guilty culprits. More than any one, he has been witness to the misrule of Nigeria.
i am not muslim...but i find muslims are more peaceful than christians.sorry.my experience..

For a proffessor and a nobel laurete, i didnt quite get what he was trying to say.
l understand he views him as a dictator and is worried about lack of alternative, i couldnt also help notice that he condemned the incumbent for the way he handled the chibok girls.
l dont know the stand he takes or any cogent reason for his aversion he has for buhari besides him being a military dictator under military rule. Does he really expect buhari to make decree under civilian rule.
All these our doctors and proffessors in nigeria just like shoving trash in our ways because they feel the titles makes them smarter than the people.
Of course it makes them/him smarter than u, while the former sees beyond his nose & judge based on verifiable facts, unlike u & ur likes who only see through the prism of religion & tribalism.

It's too late to cry when the head is off. An eye witness to gmb's regime is now telling us that he who wants to eat with devil should hold long spoon but he 'doesn't want to even eat with buhari much less holding a long spoon. It might be that you were too small to notice what happened during the regime of Buhari.
hey we are judging best on reality not on bigot. this time (GEJ) tenure is the worst regime/time this country after civil war.

Well if you think this is harsh living,if you really think that things are bad now under GEJ, then wait and see what happens if by some chance Buhari is elected. When the Niger-Delta militants return to the creeks, shut down oil production and wage guerilla style war on Nigeria from the south just like Boko Haram are doing from the north, that's when you will know that things are bad.
In other words, you're living under the threat fears of the ijaw militants?

You mut be ruled by an ijaw man or you won't enjoy peace?
And, who told you the ijaw militants can't be contained?
Do they have a monopoly on violence?

You just impressed me as a coward ready to live and die in fear.

Really? Where were you when Obasanjo razed down Odi and Zaki Biam? Was he a military dictator then? No. He was a civilian. A leopard cannot change its spots, can it?
We should be grateful to him (OBJ) then. We could have had BH situations if Odi and Zaki Biam weren't attended to with force! You can't murder security personnels of a country and not expect a crackdown. 12 Police officers were killed in Odi, 19 soldiers were abducted in Zaki Biam.
What are you guys saying huh

Well, rather than dare a change; I can bet that in your typical complacent Nigerian nature, you'd rather endure these harsh living conditions till you age.

I wish you well.

My prayer for people like you is, may God run your life as slow as jonathan runs this nation.

Say amen.
"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts." - Bertrand Russell

Any random thinking neutral, can decipher we are choosing between two evils (everyone gets to work out which is the lesser evil+what is our greatest threat), just as they can decipher your dexterity in working with assumptions—a disastrous idiosyncrasy.

You do not know who I am, if I live in Nigeria, or under harsh conditions, or whatever condition, my age, if I believe in God or not, yet your effortless mind can magically create a picture good enough to satiate your clueless/irrational perception, or rather misconception (take a pick).

Good luck to you 'madjune' (there are better ways to be 'mad'). I try to read into you; I see nothing, maybe a tatterdemalion.
