Don't be do dumb. The federal government is solely in charge of all security personnel in the country whether federal or state and before this incident, she has been using them to harass the opposition in order to deter them from campaigning in her hometown

Liar, is it not the so called "jesus of okrika" that is instigating some paid hudlooms to do so. Throughout the whole federation, nobody rejected APCs campaign even in PDP states. Isn't it strange that an APC state would utter such nonsense. I watched the campaign live on tv and the turnout was massive despite the initial tripple bomb blast that was meant to chase people away. it is unwise for u not to understand d power d first can wade in dat state. she is from d state., so she has interest in what happens there. just d way Im interested in what goes on in my state. even though I'm not in polities.

Sporadic gunshot in Okrika on Tuesday scuttled the APC governorship rally at the National Secondary School, in Rivers State.



Before the disruption, our correspondent, Charles Erukaa, explained that three explosions were heard before the APC governorship candidate, Dakuku Peterside, arrived the rally venue.

Shooters were unseen and no one could tell from which direction the gunfire was coming but it appeared to be from all around the venue of the APC rally.

The situation worsened as hoodlums have reportedly taken over the town.

A member of Channels Television crew has been stabbed and is currently receiving treatment in a hospital.
