Having successfully destroying PDP. OBJ must be enjoying all the political affection and attention he is getting at the moment. I am just worried that OBJ and Tinubu who couldn't see eye to eye a few years ago are now best of pals singing the same song and somehow Atiku and OBJ, two sworn enemies are in the same camp endorsing a man they jointly defeated in the 2003 polls. I am confused about this kind of change where corrupt ex presidents and VP implicated in the Haliburton scam are also shouting corruption. The same Haliburton scandal that fetched a US congressman jail time. I can still stomach Buhari but the presence of these guys back in the presidency makes me jittery: Atiku, OBJ and Tinubu all in one group. Beware of this sophisticated pimps. I believe they joined the change train to protect their investments and interest. Nigerians shine your eyes, this isn't change, this is continuation. This is the reason we must be careful about politician, they become united when they smell power and money. Our participation is all they need not our contribution.
Buhari though disciplined to an extent cannot do it alone at that age. Nigeria is a lot more volatile and complex than what it used to be in the early 80s. These are the guys to advice him and place people into positions that matter. May we eventually get the change we actually wished for. Before you join them in heating up the polity ensure you get a guarantee from them that they, their children, wives, friends who have benefited from them would be the first line of defence while we follow from a distance. If they are so passionate about this democracy and want to show their full commitment then they must lead by example starting from the battle field. Since they love us so much then they must show it first by leading any protest that may occur as a result of any anomalies from the forthcoming election. Jonathan might join APC tomorrow and he would be welcomed with pomp and pageantry. Do not lose sleep or your life over them, they are only doing their jobs. Remember 3 million people died in the Civil war, there are no monuments to even recognise or appreciate the blood they sacrificed for Nigeria which unfortunately is still a country not a nation. We know that both PDP and APC are thieves. But a thief had reigned for sixteen years with empty promises. The rate of corruption, lawlessness, insecurity, economic depression, inccessant strike, reduction of state govt allocation, currency deflation, unemployment, bunkery is on continuous trend. Is this the way things will continue? Chain! I regret voting for this administration some years ago.

Statements like - boko haram are even inside my.cabinet, the money Nwobodo stole is not up to money someone can use to buy Peugeot: stealing is not corruption: give me four more years to revive Nigeria: America will know etc are very disgusting to me personally and I am tired of it.

If stealing is not corruption, stealing is part of corruption: if the money Nwobodo stole cannot be used to buy Peugeot, it can be used to buy shoe for at least thousands of shoeless children.

It is now the time for us to test another party; we will still kick them out if they fail too because it is only an improvident man that will be doing things in the same way and expect a different result.

How I wish PDP can fix even only power supply and see how citizen will vote for them outrageously despite any political propaganda? I expected the result of PDP to be campaignining for them as at now and not by advertisement on pages of newspaper.

Though not a PDP nor APC, but this administration disappoint the majority of us with no political affiliation honezly.

The Nigerian military on Wednesday said it has killed over 300 Boko Haram insurgents and captured many others in its ongoing six-week counter-insurgency operation in North Eastern Nigeria.

The Defence spokesperson, Chris Olukolade, a Major General, in a statement said the massive casualty on the insurgents is a result of the ongoing air and land operation in the area in the past two days.

He said several weapons and equipment were also captured while some were destroyed during the operation.

Mr. Olukolade said five armoured vehicles, one anti-aircraft gun, 50 cases of packed bombs, eight different types of machine guns and five rocket propelled grenade were recovered from the operation.

He also said 49 boxes of various types and calibres of ammunition, 300 motorcycles, six Hilux vehicles, including those mounted with anti-aircraft guns, were destroyed.

Mr. Olukolade said the “aggressive” operation by troops of the Nigerian military will continue to ensure that 11 communities – Monguno, Gabchari, Abba Jabari, Zuntur, Gajigana, Gajiram, Damakar, Kumaliwa, Bosso Wanti, Jeram and Kabrisungul – now dominated by the military is cleared of insurgents.

The spokesperson said two soldiers died during the operation while 10 others were wounded.

He said various phases of the highly coordinated operations is also ongoing in the designated theatres being handled by contingents involved in the renewed counter-terrorism campaign in and outside Nigeria.

The military had on Monday said it recaptured Monguno town and other communities from terrorists.

Boko Haram had carried out a pre-dawn attack on Monguno, which is about 137 kilometres from Maiduguri, the Borno State capital over two weeks ago.

The takeover of Monguno and other communities brought Boko Haram closer to Maiduguri but the army successfully repelled the insurgents’ attempts to get into Maiduguri.
