Everyone has taken an unflattering photo. In the age of digital where everyone has a camera, they can’t all be perfect. Now imagine you’re an athlete competing at the highest level. Not only are you in top physical form but your ability to concentrate and focus is paramount. Now replace all of those crappy phone cameras and point and shoot devices with professional SLR’s with lenses so big they would make p0rn stars blush. These photographers aren’t taking several photos of you, they’re taking thousands. And as a competitor you don’t have time to pose, you’re too busy trying to win.
