My mum registered under Owaelu PU and her friend did hers in umuodu Orji both under Owerri North local Government Area of IMO State. Till this day, INEC in the local Govt said they don't have the polling unit PVC of these afformentioned PU, and that INEC Abuja hasn't released it to them yet. I called someone from the state INEC, he said some PVC hasn't arrived yet and some were mistakenly sent to other parts of the nation. I asked why INEC said they were ready when they have issues like this. He said that's the top talking that they are far from being ready. The people who registered under these PU and more in owerri North are facing this same thing.
I wrote to the REC IMO State, Mrs selina oko , whose email I got from INEC database, only for her to reply that she's no longer in that position and I should direct my compliant to the present REC. I wondered how inec could not even update their database seeing that people are getting informations they need from their website.
Well till now, it's same stories, my mum and many others are yet to collect. Please those from these areas should respond and find a way. AM far away from home and my mum is an old woman who can't do much on this.

and INEC said they were ready for 14th February election, Just yesterday Gov. Amosun of Ogun state said 600,000 PVC from Kebbi state were mistakenly sent to Ogun INEC office for distribution while almost same number for that of Ogun electorate are no where to be found.
it's either the man behind the INEC is incompetent or they had planned to disfranchise some people for the benefit of APC or PDP.

This is what happens when somebody is playing games. Jega definitely has sometin up his sleeves . How can with all these anomalies he still said they were ready. I used to gbadu this man but meeeeen. He better get his acts together cuz I cant figure why NE with all the insurgence can have higher PVC collection rate than SW and SE even SS.

Nigeria has a 'rich' history of mitigating circumstances with respect to matters of the public.

It would be wrong for the electorate to be disenfranchised by any means even though we know there can never be a hundred percent success.

However, INEC should be commended for its good work so far.

Getting the logistics right for a sizeable population should never be discounted especially in the face of infrastructure which one has to contend with.

The official statistics shows a high level of PVC distribution and collection all around the Nation.

Regardless of how much effort and efficiency INEC might muster there would always be pockets of uncollected PVCs and disgruntled members of the voting public.

INEC shouldn't rest on her oars and as a matter of responsibility, and with the little time available, try to improve on the present standards they've maintained.

Kudos to INEC I say.
