The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari today (Thursday) left Abuja on a short working visit to the United Kingdom.

In the course of this visit, General Buhari is expected to hold meetings with key members of the British political establishment and interact with some global institutions with stakeholder interest in the affairs of Nigeria.

General Buhari would hopefully give a talk at the prestigious foreign policy hub, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatam House in London.

Even as an GMB staunch supporter, all these his foreign trips are beginning to look very fishy.... All these 'speech givings', international grand-standing and 'stakeholder meetings' in foreign lands are rather premature at this point... instead, his Pre-Aso Rock diplomatic skills are direly needed here in Nigeria, where terrorism is seriously threatening the nation's existence...

In my humble opinion, Charity is supposed to begin at home. . GMB should speak to Boko Haram and hold a 'stakeholder' meeting with Shekau, instead of using bogus international conferences as an excuse for his flying abroad to treat his bodily infirmities
