Patiently waiting for late Q1.

Meanwhile, we are gradually walking away from the 'early part of the year'.

Expectation mode activated!

I'm not exactly sure about how much GTs will be earning. What i quoted was just an estimate. You may add N3 to N4M p.a max.

As for the experienced, I said average pay in my post. Average because some jobs required 8 years experience and others 10 years. I dont expect both categories of staff to earn same pay.

As for those GTs that you said earn close to N9M p.a I can only lol. Cos i'm not sure any company outside the oil and gas sector pays that much. If you decide to respond to this, please specify the companies that pay GTs that much. Let me apply to those companies as a GT if only they will take me. LOL.

What makes you guys think they are waiting for the outcome of the Presidential elections? Why didn't they wait for the Presidential elections before inviting us for the interviews? My advice to yall is DO NOT DROP YOUR GUARD. ELSE YOU MAY BE CAUGHT PANTS DOWN!

Wherever and whenever NLNG is involved, there is no such thing as OVERPREPARATION. A word is enough for the wise.

PEACE BE UNTO YALL.
I now understand that the figures you posted before were not exact tho u pronounced them with so much authority one may think it's the real deal. As for the GTs earning close to 9m p.a I do not mean fresh graduates for other companies but some prospective NLNG GTs that probably hav gained close to 5yrs work experience and as talents have earned themselves the high flyer status and gotten quick promotions. Remember also that it's going to 2 years since we all applied for this job and a lot can happen in that span of time.

I don't think NLNG will budge on the Q1 pact they have signed with us. They won't want to rubbish their integrity before miserly GTs. grin. I believe the stall in the recruitment process can be linked to the current political uncertainty that is tainting our nation this season.

Well at the level we are now I'm not sure there is anyone left in this race that isn't battle ready for the AC. For most of us the preparation mode will kick in when we start seeing invites for the event.
After all said we r surely keeping the hopes up cos we got nothing to lose but a lot to gain.

In the midst of all the anticipation, something that looks like some good news here >>> http://www.punchng.com/business/energy/china-imports-more-lng-from-nigeria/

We all pray Q1 will be a possibilty. Amen.

Of course you stand to be corrected and u are corrected. NLNG does owe us an explanation. Unfortunately we are dealing with Nigeria and Nigerians so it is the norm to expect companies treating applicants nonchalantly and the applicants feeling blessed for that. That's not saying they will feel the obligation to give any explanation though.

WORD!

The perverted Nigerian situation has twisted some people's idea of what best practise is all about.

Well said!

Though i must say, the 'explanation' may not soothe any pain, frustration and perturbation the delay has caused already, but it will surely show a sign of responsibility.

If nnpc(which I think should be more affected by politics and/or global crude oil price ) can be going ahead with their recruitment then I see no reason why nlng is delaying. undecided

Hello Y'all,

I trust yall had a fabulous weekend.

Well, I hate to say this, but if you guys dont receive your invites between now and latest end of next week, then yall may kiss Q1 bye bye. This is because the last week in March is ruled out for obvious reasons. This leaves us with the weeks beginning 9th March and 16th March. Now, they usually give 2 weeks notice for the interviews. If the AC is scheduled for the week beginning 9th March, then invites should start rolling in this week. And if it's scheduled for the week beginning 16th March, then invites will likely start rolling in next week or this week still. So if by the end of next week, there are still no invites from them, then Q1 2015 is no longer achievable.

PEACE BE UNTO YALL

Infact if we dont see the email after all this search, we would write our own and put it there, and invite ourselves to NLNG for this AC.
it must be this Q1 2015, NLNG you can run but you cant hide.

Lol.... grin

Expected a better suggestion; maybe we conduct the AC ourselves, send the results, then request for our Appointment letters.> less stress smiley
