BreakingNews: The Buhari phenomenon -Discussion

The Riddle of Buhari's Fight Against Corruption Remains -

Buhari stole $2.8 billion as Petroleum Minister and ₦45 billion as Chairman of PTF.

In 2008, Buhari gave a speech in Kano in which he stated that Abacha didn't steal any money from Nigeria

The only people afraid of Buhari are the innocent people he's going to put in prison in as sacrificial lambs for bloodthirsty, primitive Nigerians who like to lynch before asking questions!

Innocent men imprisoned in Buhari's so-called fight against the corruption in the Shagari government -

1. Ms Shoneyin's father.

2. Gov Adekunle Ajasin - tried 3 times by military tribunal, found innocent and yet still kept in prison!

3. Gov Ambrose Ali - died from prison inflicted health problems, without even a house or any land to his name.

4. Bola Ige, Lateef Jakande and Ebenezer Babatope...... which of these stole any money?

while President Shagari got away scot free and Vice President Ekwueme, was remanded in Kirirkiri.

And a daughter of Mr. Shoneyin, who was a victim of such injustice wants the same Buhari to preside over another war on corruption!

Mmmmmm, cognitive dissonance, masochism, Stockholm Syndrome or what?

APC is a party of mischief makers and terrible
liars. one of their biggest selling propaganda is
that GEJ has destroyed the country
but my questions to them are: 5 years ago .....

1)were there motorable roads in Nigeria five years
ago....are the roads better now than five years
ago or worse?
"2)was there a bit of stable power supply five years ago
3) how mush was a bag of rice five years ago
compared to now? is it up or down?
4) was there housing for all five years ago? has
there been a change in housing need of Nigerians
5) education ....when was the last time a
government university was built? how many have
been added now ?
6) transport ..what was the state of the railways
five years ago ? have there been any change?
7) what was the minimum wage five years ago
and what is it now?
cool what is the state of the Nigerian airports five
years ago ? what is it now?
9) Industries...what is the state of the Nigerian
industries five years ago and what is it now ?
10)petroleum ...how was the distribution of
petroleum products five years ago and what is it
now.. when was the last time we had fuel
scarcity?

we all know the answers to these questions
so ....Nigeria has improved from what it is five
years ago....

LINK: Abacha Did Not Steal, says Buhari

ThisDay Newspaper,
9 JUNE 2008

By Ibrahim Shuaibu

Kano — The late military Head of State, Gen. Sani Abacha, did not loot the national treasury contrary to the general impression, two military former heads of state have said.

Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, who ruled Nigeria between 1983 and 1985, and his successor, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, gave Abacha the clean bill in Kano yesterday after the rememberance prayers marking 10 years of the death of Abacha, who ruled between 1993 and 1998.

I am not contesting election for anybody to vote for me, all I am saying is for posterity. Where they have done well, I say it, where they are wrong, I say it as well.

When they talk of corruption in Jonathan government, I won't say the government is clean, but those who are talking about corruption, how clean are they themselves? This is the question and yet these are the same people you journalists extol to high heavens. Are you saying there is no corruption in Lagos State?

The only job we have now is to reform this country and urge Jonathan to implement the recommendations of the confab so that we can all start on a clean slate.

There may have been a lot of irregularities in the past and it is the irregularities that people are fighting. Everybody must have autonomy to rule itself and we all combine at the centre for what joins us together. If we had no federal system, Awolowo could not have done what he did in the Western Region.
