I keep wondering why people post pictures that are not representative of the story being told / portrayed. Anybody that plies Lagos - Badagry Expressway will tell you that where that bus was is the part of the road that's yet to be constructed. Those buses leave the main road and use that part of the road to avoid traffic at Mile 2 and Orile. When heading to work at the Island, those buses save ample time as they are rule breakers.

OP please tell correct me if I'm wrong on the following ;
1. Is this road not a Federal Government road?
2. Did Lagos State Government ask the Federal Government for intervention or not?
3. Where the bus was stuck, was it part of the road or a construction site?

Please let's always try to get the facts right before rushing to our keypads to make derogatory statements

Bros.it's a federal road. The same road the FG made an announcement last year that they'll swoop in and start working on the road. The same road Lagos government has been forced to work on due to FG negligence.

I live in Alakija and that's the road I ply to work. The road on top is federal road which is in an excellent condition but this particular flooded one below it is MOST DEFINITELY A STATE road. APC apologists should stop the lies. They are not doing the country any good.

Old Ojo road belongs to the state government and that road is very okay. Fashola has been the one working on badagry express road which the federal government owns. Stop talking trash okay?

Old Ojo road belongs to the state government and that road is very okay. Fashola has been the one working on badagry express road which the federal government owns. Stop talking trash okay?

To begin, I have no political affiliation at all. I want is for us to have sound arguments based of facts and figures. Never have I seen or heard of two roads embedded between each other and both belonging to different government. Let me share a little history about the road in question;
1. 2007 contract is awarded, LBE Lot A to julius Berger, LBE Lot B to CCECC.
2. Lot A has since been completed by JB.

3.CCECC has struggled to complete Lot B, leading to untold hardship.
4. The project is financed by the Lagos State with assistance from ECOWAS and the world bank.
5. Lagos State Government has reached out to the Federal Government for assistance which was turned down.

PS. Can you guys tell us how the upper part of the road which is currently in use by motorists became the FG's property, with the part under construction being that of LASG?

IF TAKES TINUBU AND FASHOLA ( LCC ) A COMBINATION OF 12 YEARS TO BUILD A ROAD FROM BONNY CAMP TO AJAH SPANNING 24.2 KM..

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO FINISH THE REMAINING 54.2 KM BETWEEN AJAH AND EPE... BEARING IN MIND THAT BONNY CAMP TO EPE IS 78.4KM
