Okay, I'm not trying to campaign for or against any political kingdom within the borders of this post, but I think it's high time we realised this current administration is playing games with human lives. I would be glad if the 'seemingly' mission impossible of ending insurgency in Nigeria is achieved within the stipulated time of 6 weeks. Who wouldn't be glad? However, we can not ignore the fact that the success will be a confirmation of the Government's deliberate negligence or its treatment with levity of terrorism. What does this tell us? Maybe it tells us that we are just being pranked into signing another 4 year deal with a jester....Maybe we are being hoodwinked to give our current looters another ticket for more looting...Could it also mean that GEJ has finally realised that fellas like Alh. Lawal Kaita and Alimodu Sheriff, likely BH funders from the PDP camp could make him lose the votes of the very same people that once campaigned for his 'Goodluck' in 2011?

Corruption breeds crime and there'll be no end to our troubles if we continue to let it thrive.... Nigerians should really think hard at this critical moment. Our political decisions shouldn't be influenced by tribe, religion or shallow sentiments. Some rush hour commissioning of projects won't do for me either, as it seems one of the major banes behind the election shift was to convince Nigerians to still vote for the ruling and failing party.

You have a problem,so to avoid calling it campaign trick he should not put more effort to stop the insurgency,GEJ is a mere human and can never be perfect, he is not even the one fighting but the almighty God, so all you have to do is to keep praying for a better Nigeria while playing your own part as a human too

Op, a times I wonder whether your likes just came down from Mars or you're simply suffering from selective amnesia. Where were you when the so called Northern elders and Buhari opposed the state of emergency declared by Gej in order to flush out the insurgents? Who stated that any onslaught against boko haram is a declaration of war against the North? When ihejirika decided to go offensive, who were those that opposed it and even declared that Gej and ihejirika are carrying out mass genocide in the north? Which political party opposed the release of funds to purchase critical weapons for our military and when was the funds eventually released? Even when FG decided to buy from the black market, who were those rejoicing that it didn't scale through. Please, do your research well before coming out to insinuate what you know nothing about.

If Winston Churchill whose approval rating never fall below 78 per cent could be booted out of office in 1945, after leading his nation to victory in WWII, it makes absolute sense to dish out the same treatment to clueless Jon - who twiddled his fingers while 15,000 of his citizens were killed.

Nobody is dreaming of the possibility of a perfect human here. Dancing 24 hours after Nyanya bomblast is not imperfection but the height of negligence and wickedness. If your relative had died in that incident and you had seen a man who has been endowed with the power to take action, jubilating in a rally, you wouldn't have made this comment. Instead of facing the fact, you're trying to draw sympathy for the president. We are not asking him to be perfect. We are asking him to be human. Celebrating or even staying passive when your own people are wasting away is the height of inhumanity. Taking late actions that you know you could have taken long ago irks me. Instead of holding your irresponsible leaders, you are saying it's God who's fighting. It's people like you that make theists look unreasonable before some atheists. Even the beloved Isrealites had leaders who took charge of situations. Knowing God is not an alibi for irresponsibility.

It's funny you know when you speak of amnesia and yet you forget or deliberately refuse to mention that there were even more casualties during the state of emergency period, which was why the 'lawmakers' (not APC) kicked against it. GEJ said he needed billions of dollars to end Boko Haram and it was approved, so you can't tell me the excuse of not having the funds, even though we know most of the funds for security are being channeled to some people's accounts.

Let me also remind you that the report (backed by satellite images) from Amnesty International showed that most of the devastations done to civilians' homes in Baga were carried out by the Nigerian Army. I guess you're one of those people who believe that every Aboki killed in the North is a terrorist. Why wouldn't Buhari speak up when innocent people were being killed and buried massively in large pits by Nigerian soldiers....all in the name of fighting insurgency. I can only hope that folks like you would be more discerning to know that some of the very people that claim to be fighting Boko Haram are the ones playing games with human lives.

If your relative was once a victim of buhari's imprisonment for saying against his government you won't be saying this as well, if your father should be fella kuti or one of the journalist imprisoned or the woman that faced death sentence without facing court judgement then you will agree with me that buhari is a tyrant

It's not easy fighting APC and their boko haram. Boko haram and APC have the same objective. to discredit GEJ and take his sit.

The #op , and his ilks hate GEJ no doubt about that, so why will he see anything good about this Govt. even with the success of military offensive against boko haram, they still feel so bitter about it and want to use / twist it against GEJ. They never rejoice about anything positive attached to NIGERIA because it will mean celebrating GEJ.

Even when GEJ calls for an event for the next day, Boko haram will attack today and APC will take over the next day.

should we mention the World economic summit for Africa? what about a day to GEJ declaration?. we could go on and on and on.
THe modus operandi of APC is in sync with that of Book haram.


GEJ. must be a near supper human to be able to confront APC & Boko haram, and still be able to achieve this much success.
